    • PURPOSE:To insert a label into the core part of a take-up body in simple ways without using man powers by inserting the label transported by a label transport arm into an air hole on the take-up spindle side edge. CONSTITUTION:The top edge 22 of a label transporting arm 22 which can turn and shift in the longitudinal direction can be chucked by using air. The transport arm 22 pulls out a label from a label container 23 by an air chuck 22b through advance and retreat, and then is turned upwardly and waits at the position opposed to the raised position of a spindle 2. When the prescribed take-up is completed, and the top is formed and the spindle 2 rises, the transfer arm projects to be fitted into the air hole 2a of the spindle 2. Then, the direction of air suction is switched from the air chuck 22b side to the spindle 2 side, and the label is delivered to the spindle side. Then the arm 22 retreat-turns, and the top is pushed out along the spindle 2 form the spindle 2 by a pushing plate, and suction is suspended at a proper position, and the label is left in the top core part.

    • PURPOSE:To keep the amount of cotton in each hopper at a nearly constant level and to reduce the time loss in the change-over of the feeding raw material fiber, by selecting the feed hopper by a specific standard and carrying out the cotton feeding for a specific preset cotton feeding time. CONSTITUTION:A level above the cotton level in a hopper 3 containing least cotton by one rank is set by a judgement part 9 of a sequencer 6 as a target cotton feeding level. Only the distribution damper of the hopper having lower cotton level than the target cotton feeding level is opened and the feeding of cotton is stopped when the level reaches the target level. When all hoppers reach the target cotton feeding level, a new target cotton feeding level is set and the feeding of cotton is carried out in the similar manner. The preset cotton feeding time of each hopper is divided into plural sections using the actual feeding time of the same level sections to be fed with cotton and the levels are calculated to effect the control of the cotton level in each hopper in high accuracy at a level corresponding to a division of the original level.

    • PURPOSE:To surely take out a thin piece sheet by sheet prevented from overlapping in two sheets or more by providing an edge type retaining tool which slightly bites into the rear end part of the thin piece pressing this thin piece to an upper layer side. CONSTITUTION:A label separating and taking out device 6 has a label magazine 40 holding labels 37... to be piled and a label takeout arm 41 taking out the label 37 sheet by sheet from the label magazine charging a bag 10 in its inside with the label. When the takeout arm 41 in a sucking condition is moved in a lateral direction, one sheet of label 37, sucked to a sucker 48, is taken out from a bottom opening part 42 of the label magazine 40. here because a sharp edge part 46a pierces the rear end part of the label 37, a break is generated in the longitudinal direction by the edge point of the edge part 46a but being practically not bad. While because the edge part presses piercing even the label in the second sheet or more, the lowermost label, when it is taken out, prevents the label in the second sheet or more from being taken out together even when friction force and sucking force are applied acting.

    • PURPOSE:To improve operational efficiency by establishing a packaging operation wherein a piece of ball and a sheet of label are placed in a packaging bag through the opened mouth thereof and wherein an automatically sealing operation of the opening portion thereof is effected. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of sheet-like packaging bags 10 are received in a magazine 2 in superposed condition, simultaneously as a plurality of labels are received in a label magazine 40 in superposed condition. A tale-up means 32 is placed into action to take up slivers for producing the ball. On the other hand, the label magazine 40 in a label feeding means 6 is moved downwardly and then a take-out arm 41 takes out a sheet of label and moves toward the center portion where the arm is pushed down into the bag 10 to leave the same therein. A mouth 22 moves into engagement with the opening portion of the bag 10 and, at the same time, the ball carried from the take-up means 32 is forced into the bag 10 by a push means 5 through the mouth 22. Since hook means 26 moved back outwardly in a manner to part right and left after retracting the mouth 22, the opening portion of the bag 10 is pulled to right and left and then a seal means 7 moves downwardly to hold the opening portion of the bag between the upper and lower portions thereof for heat sealing, thereby improving the operational efficiency for labor saving.

    • PURPOSE:To automate the thread edge nipping work by providing an arm which is set under the thread edge caught by a holding device and turns around the taken-up material and retreats, catching the thread edge, and interposes the thread edge under the thread which is taken up already. CONSTITUTION:A top 50 which completes taking-up operation is fitted onto a transport shaft 12, and the sliver end is caught by the chuck part 16 of a holding device 3 which is advanced, and then retreated. Then, the transfer shaft 12 is turned towards a thread edge processing part 3. Then, a rolling-in arm 32 advances inside in comparison with the sliver end, and when a hook 40 reaches the position of the sliver end, the rolling-in arm 32 revolves several times on the periphery of the top 50 in the opposite direction to the direction of thread winding, and the arm 32 is set under several pieces of thread materials which are wound already. Then, air is supplied into the thin pipe of the arm 32, and the hook 40 is opened outwardly, and then the arm 32 retreats, and the sliver end is caught by the hook, and set under the thread material, and then sliver end is fixed under several pieces of threads.
