    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-side coated steel plate for a can, which has an inner coated surface showing excellence in D and I workability, retort resistance, flavor keeping, hygiene and the like, and an outer coated surface showing excellence in print color development, D and I workability and the like.
      SOLUTION: There is formed, on the surface of the double-side coated steel plate becoming the outer surface when fabricated into the can, a film from a coating (I) for a can containing a hydroxy group-containing polyester resin (A), at least one cross-linking agent (B) selected from an amino resin and a resor-type phenolic resin, and an aluminum pigment (C1) or a white pigment (C2), in respective and specific amounts. There is formed on the surface of the double-side coated steel plate becoming the inner surface when fabricated into the can, a film from a coating (II) for a can containing a crystalline polyester resin fine particle (D) composed mainly of an ethylene terephthalate unit, a crystalline polyester resin fine particle (E) composed mainly of a butylene terephthalate unit, and an organic solvent (F) showing a solubility for the fine particles (D) and (E) of less than 5 mass% at a temperature of not higher than 40°C and not less than 99 mass% at a temperature of not lower than 170°C, in respective and specific amounts.
