    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device etc., for measuring an amount of specific kind of gas included in a molten metal, an absolute amount of specific kind of gas amount accompanied by an inclusion, or the number of particles of the inclusion. SOLUTION: A gas amount measuring device includes: a vacuum vessel 1 for holding molten metal; a first piping 5a connected to the vacuum vessel and an atmospheric air opening valve is equipped inbetween; a second piping 5b connected to the vacuum vessel and an calibration gas generator is equipped inbetween; a third piping 5c on which a vacuum meter connected to the vacuum vessel, a first valve, a leak valve, a second valve, a turbo-molecular pump, a third valve and a coarse vacuum pump are equipped inbetween; a first by-pass piping 16 equipped with a fourth valve inbetween while connecting a point on the third piping between the vacuum vessel and the first valve with a point on the third piping between the leak valve and a second valve; and a second by-pass piping 17 equipped with a fifth valve inbetween while connecting a point on the third piping between a leak valve and a second valve with a point on the third piping between a third valve and the coarse vacuum pump.
