    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a text for learning that sunlight of a wide band from an ultraviolet band to a far infrared band has a band with high photoelectric conversion efficiency, and a band with high thermoelectric conversion efficiency, and that a solar power generating system with high efficiency is provided by using both bands. SOLUTION: The solar light and heat composite power generating system is provided with: a filter for wavelength separation for separating a light of a short wavelength having a wavelength of a visible light or shorter and a light of a long wavelength band having a wavelength of an infrared light or longer, and comprises: a means for collecting sunlight to the filter for wavelength separation, a means for radiating the transmitted or reflected light of the short wavelength of the visible light or shorter to a solar cell; a means for radiating the reflected or transmitted light of the long wavelength of the infrared light or longer to a temperature difference power generating system; and a means for confirming power generation.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance energy use efficiency of solar light by efficiently performing power generation and hot water supply as cogeneration. SOLUTION: By fusing a solar light and heat combined power generation system 10 and a CO 2 refrigerant heat pump system 30 together via a cooling water circulation system 20, power generation and hot water supply are covered as a cogeneration system. That is, electric power generated by a thermoelectric element 14 and a solar battery 15 is accumulated and is used as an energy source for driving the heat pump system 30. Waste heat from the thermoelectric element 14 and solar battery 15 is recovered by cooling water, is recovered again by a carbon dioxide refrigerant in the heat pump system 30, and is used as a heating source for generating hot water in the heat pump system.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tropical cyclone controlling system capable of greatly decreasing climatic damages by suitably extinguishing a tropical cyclone in the initial stage of development, or changing the route of the tropical cyclone.
      SOLUTION: This tropical cyclone controlling system comprises forecasting the future scale of a tropical cyclone 1 in the initial stage of development with a calculating machine of a ground-based station 3, based on observation data transmitted from a means for observation such as a meteorological observation airplane 2. Furthermore, to a tropical cyclone in the initial stage of development, forecasted to have a possibility to develop to an extremely huge scale, the tropical cyclone controlling system comprises performing energy pouring into the proper parts thereof with laser beams or electromagnetic wave beams by an energy pouring means such as a laser irradiating satellite 4.
