CONSTITUTION:If a bobbin case 4 is set in a residual thread removal zone, according to a carrier 3, a control means 50 is operated. And, an air cylinder 12 is advanced by turning on a solenoid valve 12a, and also when the end of thread wound on a bobbin 10 is caught between a thread remover 7 and a receiving shaft 9 after a lapse of specified time, a winding means 60 is rotated in the opposite direction to that at winding of thread by operating a motor 37 so as to wind the thread wound on the bobbin 10 on a spindle 8. At this time, if photointerruptor 11 detects the nonrevolution of the bobbin 10, it performs the catching and winding operation of the winding means 60 again. Then, after a lapse of a specified time, the motor 37 is stopped, and also the air cylinder 12 is retreated.

In case of a pair mode, a sewing flag is reset or set by the decision of the sewing flag, and after that, on the basis of the decision of the sewing flag, stacking with the drive of a sewing machine is done, or only the stacking without the drive thereof is done. In case of no pair mode, the sewing flag is not reset or not set, and on the basis of the decision of the sewing flag, the same movement is done.

In this case, a relative position relation of the panel 3B and the solar cells 1C, 1D is varied sine the panel 3B is fixed to a throat plate side 11 side. This turning angle is detected by a solar cell 10C for discriminating the lower cloth step part, and the lower cloth end position corresponding to an output voltage of the solar cells 1C, 1D is corrected by a control means.

When the buttons are not fed even after 10 times of the feeding operation of buttons, only at the time, the machine is stopped by a stopping means 19 of the machine, and when buttons are fed until the no-button counter 17 counts 10 times, the counter is cleared to continue the fitting work of buttons.
