    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine output control apparatus of a vehicle, capable of avoiding a non-traveling state as much as possible even when a high torque is required in the vehicle and also the vehicle travels at an extremely low speed, and suppressing increase in the temperature and the overheat of an oil in a torque converter.SOLUTION: An engine output control apparatus includes a controller. The controller performs, on the basis of each detection information of a shift range detecting means 70, a vehicle speed detecting means 39 and an engine output state detecting means 12, determination control determining that a torque converter 2 is in a stall state if following determination conditions are satisfied: a shift range is a drive range; a vehicle speed V is equal to or less than the predetermined vehicle speed; and an engine 1 is in a high output state, cumulation control cumulating a period of agreement of the determination conditions if the determination conditions are satisfied, and output suppression control suppressing output of the engine 1 if a control start condition is satisfied by cumulation of the agreement period. The control start condition is set so that as the vehicle speed V becomes higher, start of the output suppression control is more delayed.
