A peripheral steam supply pipe 35 is mounted on a side surface of the casing 24 below a guide metal 34 interposed between an internal surface of the casing 24 and an external surface of the shaft 26, and a steam/water mixing nozzle 36 is mounted on the internal surface of the casing 24 downward from this supply pipe 35 so as to surround the water nozzle 26a. A throat 37 is mounted on a lower end of this nozzle 36, and a boosting diffuser 38 is mounted on a lower end of the throat 37 to connect a delivery pipe 54 to a lower end of the casing 24 and a supply water pipe 55, connected to the water nozzle 26a, to an upper part side surface of the casing 24.

    • PURPOSE: To define an air outlet and inlet ports close each other and significantly shorten the length of exhaust and fresh air ducts, by providing an air exhaust port with a louver window constituted by a louver boards extending in a vertical direction, the louver boards being arranged to face in the opposite direction of air intake port, in the Diesel generator chamber and the like of a nuclear power plant.
      CONSTITUTION: A louver window is arranged at an air outlet port 3, being constituted by the louver window having a plural number of louver boards 10 provided vertically to a frame having an upper and a lower muntin 12, 13 and vertical muntins 14, 15. The louver boards 10 are arranged to cover the air outlet port 2. The louver boards 10 are also positioned to extend in the vertical direction, facing to the opposite direction of air intake port 3 defined in an adjacent position of the same wall. That is, each of louver board 10 is provided with an angle α in the opposite direction of air intake port 3 relative to the depth-wise direction of air outlet port 2. The angle α is preferably determined in the range 30W60°.

      CONSTITUTION: When an exhaust air from the interior 4 of a building a forcibly drafted toward an air direction device 20, the air, colliding with air direction plates 21 of the air direction device 20, is forced to flow horizontally in the reverse direction to that of an air intake 5. The exhaust air, passing through the air direction device 20, collides with louver boards 11 of a louver window 10, resulting in flowing downward. Thus, an air stream, exhausted from a louver window, is forced to flow obliquely downward, and even where an air exhaust port and the air intake are formed in an adjoining manner in the same wall surface, the exhaust gas may be prevented from entrance into the air intake.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the relative displacement of fuel assembly, and prevent the reactivity application in a short time by providing a means for constraining the relative displacement between a plurality of fuel assemblies in the lattice of an upper lattice plate to a degree such that the neutron bundle detected by a detecting means never exceed a prescribed value at earthquake. CONSTITUTION:A fuel assembly 8 upper part is strongly pushed to an upper lattice plate by the action of a highly rigid leaf spring 21 as a rolling preventing metal fitting and a thick fuel pad 24, and the fuel assembly is thus sufficiently rigid to a large horizontal external force. The maximum thickness 2 including the displacement limiting projection 25 of a channel furnace 20 is set sufficiently large, whereby the gap of the fuel assembly 8 can be limited to a prescribed value. The channel furnace 20 is mounted on the fuel assembly 8, and two highly rigid leaf springs 21 are combined thereto. The spring constant of the spring 21 is set to a spring constant calculated from the earthquake scram generation allowable maximum displacement and horizontal load, whereby the relative displacement of the assembly 8 is reduced, and the reactivity application in a short time can be prevented.
