    • PURPOSE:To achieve a higher safety and reliability of a plant by comparing and judging an abnormal cause mode, a cause-effect relationship data of statistic feature quantity and a change in the feature quantity in the direction of abnormality. CONSTITUTION:Various process signals of a nuclear power plant are always inputted into a signal input device 1 on line. Demand or the like of an operator 2 is inputted from an input device 3 as required. Then, the various process signals inputted from the device 1 are inputted into an arithmetic processor 5 after a forecast value thereof is computed in real time with a signal forecasting device 4 applying the number of signal forecasting coefficients. Then, a statistical feature quantity extracted with the device 5 and a rule related to a process to be diagnosed selected from among cause-effect relationship rules between an abnormality cause mode of process dynamic characteristics previously stored in a memory 6 and a dynamic characteristic function and the statistic feature quantity are sent to an abnormality cause inferring device 7 through the device 5. Then, the feature quantity and the cause-effect relationship rule thus extracted are compared per statistic feature quantity and an estimated abnormality cause mode is displayed 8 in the order of higher matching degree.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the relative displacement of fuel assembly, and prevent the reactivity application in a short time by providing a means for constraining the relative displacement between a plurality of fuel assemblies in the lattice of an upper lattice plate to a degree such that the neutron bundle detected by a detecting means never exceed a prescribed value at earthquake. CONSTITUTION:A fuel assembly 8 upper part is strongly pushed to an upper lattice plate by the action of a highly rigid leaf spring 21 as a rolling preventing metal fitting and a thick fuel pad 24, and the fuel assembly is thus sufficiently rigid to a large horizontal external force. The maximum thickness 2 including the displacement limiting projection 25 of a channel furnace 20 is set sufficiently large, whereby the gap of the fuel assembly 8 can be limited to a prescribed value. The channel furnace 20 is mounted on the fuel assembly 8, and two highly rigid leaf springs 21 are combined thereto. The spring constant of the spring 21 is set to a spring constant calculated from the earthquake scram generation allowable maximum displacement and horizontal load, whereby the relative displacement of the assembly 8 is reduced, and the reactivity application in a short time can be prevented.
