    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil-improvement method and a soil-improvement device in tunnel construction works, which can be adopted regardless of the type of the cutter structure of a tunnel boring machine and in which chemicals can be injected properly even on the inside of a curve in the case of the construction of a sharp curve and a wide working space can be ensured. SOLUTION: An injection pipe 50 is extended up to the tunnel boring machine 1 side obliquely forwards from an existing segment 14a placed at the rear of the tunnel boring machine 1, and a soil-improvement agent (chemicals) is injected from the injection pipe 50. Accordingly, chemicals are injected regardless of the cutter structure of the boring machine 1 completely. Since an angle of inclination θ to a tunnel center line of the pipe 50 is increased easily, chemicals can be injected properly even inside a curve by increasing the angle in the rectangular direction in the case of the construction of the sharp curve.
