    • PURPOSE:To enable desired adjustment of a feed angle by fitting a rotary housing and an inner housing freely rotatably into a stationary housing and rotating these housings in one body. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical stationary housing 1 is stuck to a frame 2, and a rotary housing 4 provided with a screw down device 3 is fitted freely rotatably in the housing 1. An inner housing 7 contg. a journal box 6 of a rolling roll 5 is fitted freely rotatably in the housing 4 and an annular gear 12 which can be driven freely is mounted to the end face of the housing 7. The fixing or the housing 7 and the housing 4 respectively is made possible by means of the clamps 27, 25 of the housing 4 and the housing 1. The gear 12, the housing 7 and the housing 4 are rotated in one body by means of a motor 20 via a gear 22, whereby an optional feed angle is set. The above-mentioned mechanism is provided on both inlet and outlet sides.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the waiting time of rolling stands and to improve productivity, by mounting a shell and a bar on plural pre-sledding rolls of a line placed separately from a rolling line, and inserting the bar after aligning the bar with the shell. CONSTITUTION:A shell 1 taken out from a piercer is brought into contact with a shell stopper 8 by an aligning line 7 to measure the length of the shell 1 by position detectors 9a-9f. Pre-sledding rolls 6a-6c corresponding to the detectors 9a-9c detecting the shell 1 are raised and lowered properly so as to previously align the center of the shell 1 with that of a bar 2 when the bar 2 is inserted into the shell 1 on an inserting line 3. Next, the shell 1 on the aligning line 7 is parallelly transferred onto the inserting line 3 to mount it on the rolls 6a-6c. The bar 2 is guided by pre-sledding rolls 6d-6f to insert it into a hollow part of the shell 1. Thus a rolling is started after transferring the shell 1 having inserted bar 2 to a rolling line 4 and then guiding said shell to rolling stands 10.

CONSTITUTION:A hose 13 is provided between a piping hole 14 and an inlet 7. And grease is sent from a grease supply source to a rod body 1 via a distribution valve not indicated in the figure. And the grease, which has been sent from the inside of the rod body 1 to the inside of a cylinder body 4, is sent to an inlet side axle box 5 via a hose 15 on the one hand and to an inlet side axle box 2 via the distribution valve on the other hand. Thus, the grease from the grease supply source is distributed by the distribution valve, and one portion of the grease is supplied directly to a greasing spot in the outlet side axle box 2, while the other portion moves from a piping hole 14, which goes through the outlet side axle box 2, to the rod body 1 via the hose 13. The grease sent to the inside of the rod body 1 is supplied to the inlet side axle box 5 via the hose 15, a fact which ensures smooth supply of grease.

In a state that the bar is clamped, the bar 15, the claw 7, the wedge 6, an inner ring 8 of the bearing 8, and the housing 3, etc. rotate in one body. When unclamped, the bar 15 is pushed out of a clamp space 16 to the outside of the housing 3 with the aid of a pusher bar 17 by actuating a cylinder 19.
