    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device capable of covering a window at the side of a vehicle interior of an automobile, covering an airbag with a cover body with satisfactory appearance, and moving the cover body smoothly when deploying the airbag. SOLUTION: This airbag device 1 arranged at the roof side 5 of the vehicle is provided with the airbag 2, a garnish 18, a hinge 27, a protector 28, and a bracket 26 fixed on a vehicle body 3. The upper side of the garnish 18 is supported to the bracket 26 through the hinge 27. An engaging part 43 formed by protruding from the lower side of a garnish body 41 of the garnish 18 is engaged with an engagement receiving part 84 formed in the protector 28. Usually, the normal shape of the garnish 18 can be maintained by making the engaging part 43 engaged with the engagement receiving part 84.
