SOLUTION: This airbag device 1 arranged at the roof side 5 of the vehicle is provided with the airbag 2, a garnish 18, a hinge 27, a protector 28, and a bracket 26 fixed on a vehicle body 3. The upper side of the garnish 18 is supported to the bracket 26 through the hinge 27. An engaging part 43 formed by protruding from the lower side of a garnish body 41 of the garnish 18 is engaged with an engagement receiving part 84 formed in the protector 28. Usually, the normal shape of the garnish 18 can be maintained by making the engaging part 43 engaged with the engagement receiving part 84.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly deploy a door part by breaking a cover body of an airbag device from a desired position. SOLUTION: A cover body 11 covering a folded airbag is constituted by welding an inner part 22 made of a flexible resin to a lower side of an outer part 21 made of a hard resin. When the airbag is inflated, a tear line 24 forming in the outer part 21 is broken, and a door scheduled part C is deployed to form a projecting port of the airbag. The door scheduled part C and an outline part D are connected to each other by a deformable hinge part provided on the inner part 22. A plurality of deformation line parts 39 are formed in the inner part 22 orthogonal to a center tear line 24a constituting the tear line 24. The inner part 22 is easily deformable by the deformation line parts 39. When deploying the airbag, the tear line 24 is broken from a breakage starting position 27 at a center part of the center tear line 24a to smoothly deploy the door part with good balance.
