    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorption refrigerator capable of extracting only non-condensable gas while preventing suction of an absorbing solution.SOLUTION: This absorption refrigerator 10 includes an evaporator 15 producing refrigerant vapor, an absorber 16 for making the produced refrigerant vapor be absorbed by the absorbing solution 17, a regenerator for separating the refrigerant vapor by heating the absorbing solution produced by the absorber, and a condenser for condensing the refrigerant vapor separated by the regenerator and releasing heat. This absorption refrigerator is provided with a gas extraction tube 35 disposed vertically in the absorber 16 for extracting the non-condensable gas 33. The gas extraction tube is provided with a pressure balancing section 36 extending above a neighborhood on an upper side of a maximum liquid level 17of the absorbing solution, and a gas extracting section 37 extending below the neighborhood on the upper side of the maximum liquid level of the absorbing solution, and the pressure balancing section and the gas extracting section are provided with a plurality of gas extraction holes 38, 39.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling structure which is used at a low cost.
      SOLUTION: In the coupling structure of a flow passage for flowing refrigerant and absorption solution of the absorption refrigeration cycle 10, a gasket 27, enclosing a shaft 31, used for this coupling structure, has a protruding rod part 32 for pressing coupling surfaces 22, 25 by elastically deforming when clamped by two coupling members 23, 26. As a result, the protruding rod part 32 presses the coupling surfaces 22, 25 and leakage of fluid is prevented. By using a gasket arranged with the protruding rod part 32, leakage of the fluid is prevented and the protruding part 32 is mounted by using an inexpensive means for pressing a metal plate.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the decline of the operating efficiency of an absorption type refrigerating machine without discharging the hydrogen gas generated in the machine by removing the gas in the machine through reduction. SOLUTION: In the inner upper part of an absorber 2, a hydrogen treating device 21 is positioned adjacently to an evaporation passage 20a by making an evaporator 1 communicate with the absorber 2. The device 21 is filed up with a metal oxide and the hydrogen gas generated in a refrigerant passage reacts to the metal oxide and produces water, resulting in the removal of the hydrogen gas. Since the refrigerant vapor generated in the evaporator 1 shifts from a low-temperature environment to a high-temperature environment, there is no possibility of a condensed refrigerant adhering to the hydrogen treating device 21 adjoining to the evaporation passage 20a. Therefore, the hydrogen removing treatment can be promoted without lowering the reaction efficiency of the metal oxide even when the refrigerating machine is in an operating state.
