    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy that has all of adequate strength properties (yield strength, fatigue strength and elongation) at a temperature between 100°C and 150°C, which corresponds to the temperature of oil in an engine, and has superior dimension stability and abrasion resistance; heat-resistant high-strength aluminum alloy parts; and a manufacturing method therefor.
      SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy comprises 1.5 mass% or more but less than 3.8 mass% Cu, 7.5-12.0 mass% Si, 0.3-1.5 mass% Mg, 0.1-0.5 mass% Ag and the balance Al with unavoidable impurities. The heat-resistant high-strength aluminum alloy parts are formed of the aluminum alloy. The method for manufacturing the heat-resistant high-strength aluminum alloy parts comprises die-cast-molding the aluminum alloy, and then subjecting the molded article to T5 heat treatment which is defined in JIS.
