摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling structure of a belt type continuously variable transmission capable of forming a power unit with excellent aesthetic appearance by preventing the size of the power unit from being increased by a side cover for sucking cooling air.
SOLUTION: In this cooling structure of a belt type continuously variable transmission, a recessed part 27D recessed to a transmission case cover 24 side is formed at the front of a rear side side-cover 27. An extension part 26E extending rearward is so overlapped with the rear part of a front side side-cover 26 as to cover the recessed part 27D from the outer-side. A cooling air suction gap 127 is formed between the extension part and the rear side side-cover 27 along the side edge 26Ee of the extension part 26E. A cooling air suction passage 126 is formed between the extension part 26E and the recessed part 27D.
