    • PURPOSE:To improve the durability of a vane type air pump, by making up a vane from the phenol resin contained with a filler having lubrication and reinforcement capacity, while molding a seal member being coherent to both sides of the vane, from a carbon system material impregnated with phenol resin. The vane 8 is made up by mixing a filler, which has the residual of lubrication and reinforcement capacity, with 50-60% phenol resin, while the seal member 10 is formed up by way of molding and sintering processes after having graphite powder carrying lubrication capacity impregnated with the phenol resin so that durability in the seal member and the vane as well as durability in a vane type air pump in turn are all improved.

    • PURPOSE:To increase a contact surface area between the yoke and the resin cylindrical pipe and to enable a characteristic of the shaft to be varied by a method wherein metalic yokes are fitted between the inner and outer double cylinders of the fiber reinforced resin at both ends thereof and adhered integrally. CONSTITUTION:In a driving shaft 1, metalic yokes 4 are fitted between the inner and outer double cylinders 2 and 3 of fiber reinforced resin at both ends thereof, adhesive agent is coated to the adjoining surfaces 4a and 4b between each of the yokes 4 and the cylinders 2 and 3 so as to adhere the cylinders 2 and 3 with the yokes 4 together integrally. In a space enclosed by the cylinders 2 and 3 and the yoke 4 is arranged an auxiliary sleeve 5 of resin. This shaft enables an adhering area between the yoke and the cylinders to be increased and their strength is also increased. At the same time, it is possible to apply a proper characteristic corresponding to an application of the shaft to the shaft by varying the physical characteristic of resin of the inner end outer cylinders.
