    • PURPOSE:To contrive to achieve high efficiency of torque transmission by a method wherein a torque fluctuation is made absorbable with the sliding of friction plate group during the low speed system gear operation under comparatively violent torque fluctuation condition, and the frictional force of the friction plate group is made increasable correspond to the torque increasing with a thrust generating mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The third speed driven gear 123 is integrally provided on a pipe-shaped shaft 11 which is rotatably and externally engaged with an output power shaft 5, the second speed driven gear 122 and the like are engaged to the pipe-shaped shaft 11 via a bearing 292. The forth speed driven gear 124 and the like are made spline fitting to the output power shaft 5, a torsional vibration absorbing device D is interposed between the gear 124 and the pipe-shaped shaft 11. The device D is composed of the first cam plate 161 which is made spline fitting to a cylinder-shaped extended part 14 of the pipe-shaped shaft 11, the second cam plate 162 which is made spline fitting to an outer cylinder 18, each plural driving and driven friction plate 21, 22, primary and secondary springs 241, 242. The secondary spring 242 is operated according to the relative motion caused by the both cam plates 161, 162, thus, a thrust generating device G which increases the frictional force between both friction plates 21, 22 is composed.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a surplus space in the rear or the front of a transmission gear, by arranging gears for transmitting an output in a position aside to an engine from the axial line of a reduction gear.
      CONSTITUTION: An output gear 46 and a driven gear 49 are provided in the vicinity of an end part of an output shaft 39 aside to an engine E, and a subspeed change mechanism 38 is arranged in a position to the engine E. Accordingly, weightof a transmission gear 7 can be distributed deflecting to the engine E. In this way, a transmission case 36 and an engine case 32 are formed in a relatively small thickess enabling the rigidity to be decreased, as a result the whole unit of the engine containing the transmission gear 7 can be formed in light weight. A meshing part 65, being placed in a position aside to the engine E, can ensure a space enough for arranging a steering gear 70 and a lead beam 71 or the like behind the transmission gear 7, thus a car room can be also spread.

    • PURPOSE:To secure such a damper structure that is less in the number of part items and compact in size by providing a clutch inner with a damper hub inner connected to an output shaft and a damper hub outer supported on the former free of relative rotation, and connecting both of them with ring damper rubber. CONSTITUTION:When a clutch pedal is restored from a state of having operated this pedal, both clutch disks 23, 27 are joined close to each other by dint of resilient force of a diaphragm spring 35, so that a clutch 21 is engaged and driving force of a crankshaft 14 is transferred to a transmission input shaft 15. At this time, if torque is transferred to a damper hub outer 26 from a crack outer 22 via the said disks 23, 27, this damper outer 26 is slightly rotated relative to the damper hub inner 25 attached tight to the input shaft 15, and at that time, damper rubber 28 connecting the damper hub outer 26 to a damper hub inner 25 is deformed to some extent, through which any shock due to engagement of the clutch 21 is absorbed in this way.
