    • PURPOSE:To shorten the access time to an audio memory unit and simultaneously increase the number of output lines by dividing sound information into plural information groups and writing them into a line buffer which is provided correspondingly to each line and stores information temporarily. CONSTITUTION:Sound information of unit length is divided into plural information groups, and block numbers are added to them. Then, they are stored previously in circulating audio memory unit 2, and sound information of unit length designated by sound read control unit 3 is read out from the start of an arbitrarily circulated information group in order by unit length and is converted to 8-bit parallel data by series-parallel converter 5 and is given to distributor 6. Distributor 6 writes the block number as an address into line buffer 7 which is assigned by talkie compilation control unit 1. PCM digital sound information transmitted from line buffer 7 is converted to an analogue code by MODEM 8 and is demodulated to sound and is outputted. Thus, the number of output lines can be increased simultaneously with shortening the access time to the audio memory unit.
