    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and light electric rotating electric machine for maintaining cooling capability, and disposing coolers without increasing a height from the lower end of the electric rotating electric machine to an axial center and a total height.
      SOLUTION: The electric rotating electric machine overcomes the problem, and is provided with: a rotor iron core having a rotor winding wound to the rotor iron core; a stator iron core facing the rotor iron core through an air gap, radially extended, and having a plurality ventilation ducts axially disposed at predetermined intervals and a stator winding wound to the stator iron core; a stator frame for receiving them; a plurality of ventilation sections disposed between the stator frame and the stator iron core, and axially partitioned by partition plates; a cooling medium circulated within the stator frame, and cooling the interior of the electric rotating electric machine; the coolers disposed in the middle of a circulation path of the cooling medium, and cooling the cooling medium; and a ventilation path communicated with the ventilation sections, and axially continuous. The coolers are circumferentially disposed in the same position in the axial direction.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine that has connection wires which absorbs thermal elongation in the axial direction that is caused to occur repeatedly at every start and stop and an action force caused by displacement in the radial direction by a centrifugal force, and to provide the manufacturing method of the rotary electric machine that prevents the deterioration of the strength of the connection wires by suppressing temperature rise when the connection wires are connected. SOLUTION: This rotary electric machine is provided with: a rotor winding that constitutes a part of a rotor; a conductor provided at the center in the radial direction of a rotor body for supplying electricity from outside to the rotor winding; an outgoing line drawn from the conductor to the outside circumference side; and the connection wires that are constituted of a plurality of conductive plates stacked and that electrically connect the rotor winding to the outgoing line. The connection wires, which consist of a straight line portion in the radial direction where the outgoing line side becomes a straight line in the radial direction and a curved portion that branches from the straight line portion in the radial direction into two paths in the direction opposite to the axial direction of the rotor and that has a straight line portion in a portion, are configured in such a way that the straight line portion of the curved portion is joined to the bottom surface of the rotor winding. Consequently, it becomes possible to enhance the endurability and reliability of the generator against its higher harmonic currents.
