摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine capable of leveling the axial distribution in a temperature rise inside the machine. SOLUTION: Cooling medium is supplied to the axial central section of an iron core farthest from both ends of the iron core in the axial direction. A plurality of air ducts 18 continuous in the peripheral direction are axially formed between a stator frame 1 and a stator core 2, and a cooler 28 is installed corresponding to the air duct. The cooling medium pressure-raised by a pressure rising device is cooled by the cooler 28, and circulation is performed for the axial central section of the stator core 2 from the outer periphery side to the inner periphery side of the stator core 2 through an air duct 15 communicating with the axial central section of the stator core 2.

Thus a fatigue damage on the fan blade is prevented from occurring by a centrifugal force and the fluid vibration.

According to this, a gas cooling type of rotating machine for a turbine which is low-cost and highly reliable and small-sized can be obtained.

A heater 5 for making the thermal control of the rotor 1 from the outer surface is provided to the internal clearance of a cover 4, and a device 6 for heating the rotor 1 from its inside is also provided. At the time of the rotation of the rotor 1, the axial vibration is detected by an axial vibration measuring device 8 through an axial vibration sensor 7. The axial vibration component is detected by heating respectively from the inside and the outside, then it is converted into the temperature state at the time of actual loading to be added.

In this case, the cooling water tube 1 is connected to a middle region of the connecting wire 3 so that the cooling water fed from the cooling water tube 1 is passed through the connecting wire 3 and fed to the stator windings 2a and 2b.
