    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet type dynamo-electric machine which can perform stable rotation for a long period. SOLUTION: This machine is provided with means (13A-13F and 14A-14F), which press a permanent magnet 5 to the side of a retaining ring 6 at rotation, between a magnetic yoke 4Y and the permanent magnet 5 whose periphery is retained by the retaining ring 6 and which is divided in its circumferential direction. By the above constitution, even if space arises in the vicinity of the permanent magnet 5, the retention of the permanent magnet 5 becomes stable by pressing the permanent magnet 5 to the side of the retaining ring 6 at rotation, thus it can suppress low-frequency oscillation or instable oscillation at high-speed rotation.     • PURPOSE:To prevent the reverse flow of exhaust gas to the engine side during a stop, by a method wherein, in generating equipment having a plurality of diesel engines, a motor-operated valve is disposed in the exhaust piping of each engine, and each motor-operated valve is opened and closed according to operation and the stop of corresponding engine. CONSTITUTION:Industry-owned generating equipment installed at a building provided with generators 1b and 2b driven by two diesel engines 1a and 2a, and exhaust gas from engines 1a and 2a is released in the open air through an exhaust pipe 4 and a muffler 5, commonly used for exhaust pipings 3-1 and 3-2. A check valve 6 opened by means of the air pressure of exhaust gas is located in each of the exhaust pipings 3-1 and 3-2. In this case, a motor- operated valve 11 is disposed on the downstream side of check valves 6 in the exhaust pipings 3-1 and 3-2. The motor-operated valve 11 is controlled by a valve control means 12 having function to monitor the running state of each engine so that it is closed when corresponding engine is in a stop state and opened simultaneously with an engine starting command.

    • PURPOSE:To perform reliable starting, by a method wherein, during the starting of a gas engine having a turbocharger, intake air is caused to bypass from the turbocharger, and gas fuel is also fed without pressurization. CONSTITUTION:During normal running of a gas engine 18, air supercharged by a turbocharger 5 is fed to a mixer 9, and is mixed with high pressure gas flowing through a pressure device 13 increasing the pressure of low pressure gas to a high value. During the starting of an engine, a switching valve 19 is changed over, a bypass pipe 3 is opened, intake air is fed to the mixer 9 not through the turbocharger 5, and with a valve 16 closed and a valve 15 opened, gas fuel is fed to the mixer 9 not through the pressure device 13 as the gas fuel is left kept at a low pressure. This enables to perform reliable starting without using fuel and a suction system premised on normal operation.

CONSTITUTION:The rotor shaft 18 of a turbine 13 which is turned by the operation of exhaust gas has an air blower impeller 12, by which air is sucked via an air filter 20. The air is fed into an intake valve 17 also has a gas blower impeller 12 at the opposed end thereof, by which fuel gas 9 having been sent from a gas piping 21 via a gas filter 19 is increased in pressure. The fuel gas having pressure increased is then sent into a gas carbureter 1 via a gas cooler 7, a surge tank 8 and a gas regulator 3.

CONSTITUTION:A field winding is composed of a DC-exciting winding 3a and an AC-exciting winding 5, and the winding 3a is DC-excited to generate 3-phase AC voltages in armature windings 1a. A cancelling magnetic flux for cancelling the reverse phase magnetic flux generated in the winding 1a at the time of single-phase load is generated in the winding 5. A DC-exciting current is supplied through an AC exciter 6 and a rotary rectifier 7 to the winding 3a to generate a generator voltage. Further, the winding 5 is supplied from an AC exciter 9 to a rectifier 11. As a result, a single-phase load capacity can be increased without affecting the influence of a reverse phase current at the time of single- phase load.
