      SOLUTION: This vibration control device for a railway vehicle is structured of a hydraulic actuator provided in parallel with an air spring between a bogie and a car body supported on the bogie through springs, the hydraulic source for supplying hydraulic medium for operating the hydraulic actuator, the hydraulic medium to be supplied from the hydraulic source to the hydraulic actuator, an electric motor for controlling the hydraulic medium, an acceleration detecting means for detecting vibration acceleration of the car body, and a control unit for controlling the electric motor by compensating control input to restrict vibration of the car body with a result of detection by the acceleration detecting unit as the control input. Each of hydraulic chambers of the hydraulic actuator are communicated with each other through a throttle means, and a plurality of actuators, which are respectively formed of the electric motor and a two-way pump, are arranged to be separately controlled.

Hydraulic chambers of the hydraulic actuator are communicated with each other via a throttling means, and have the throttling diameter to suppress the vibration of the frequency over the frequency to be controlled by the electric motor out of the vibration transmitted from the bogie to the rolling stock body.
