CONSTITUTION:A head 1 for information write/read, a swing arm 2 which supports this head 1, and a pivot shaft 3 are provided, and this pivot shaft 3 is fixed to a base 6. The inside wheel of a bearing 7 is fitted and fixed to the pivot shaft 3, and the outside wheel of the bearing 7 is fitted and stuck to the swing arm 2. Consequently, the swing arm 2 can be rotated smoothly in the direction of an arrow B with the pivot shaft 3 as the center. A pre-load is applied to the bearing 7 from above by the spring pressure of a spring 9 for the purpose of eliminating ''play'' in the thrust direction to stabilize the rotation of the swing arm 2.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent thermal off-track in a device from being generated by forming the receiving plane of a magnetic disk on the hub of a spindle motor in projecting circular arc shape, and providing notches continuing from the receiving plane of the disk on the side plane of the cylinder part of the hub. CONSTITUTION:The cross-secitonal shape of the working face of a hub flange part 27 with the magnetic disk 6 is formed in the same shape as the working face of a disk clamp 5 with the magnetic disk 6 by forming in the projecting circular arc shape, which changes face working to line working. In other words, it is constituted in such a way that the inclination of a disk plane does not depend on that of the working face of the hub flange part 27 with the magnetic disk 6. Next, the notches continuing with continuous planes from the projecting circular arc plane of the hub flange part 27 are provided on a hub cylindrical part 28, and a spring property is attached by thinning the thickness of a cylinder to connect the hub cylindrical part 27 to the hub flange part 27, thereby, the displacement of the hub flange part 27 can be prevented from affecting on the deformation of the shape of the hub cylindrical part 28. In such a way, it is possible to prevent the thermal off-track due to the inclination of the disk plane from being generated.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent misalignment of a head due to residual torque in tightening a screw by putting a washer having a spring property between a head bar and a head clamp and pressing the head clamp so as to hold down the head bar to be fixed with. CONSTITUTION:In a carriage assembly part with a carriage 4 fitted alternately with the head bar and a head spacer 9, a magnetic head 6 is fixed to the carriage 4 by fixedly holding the magnetic head 6 between the carriage 4 and the head clamp 7. That is, the washer 12 having a spring property is placed between the head bar and the head clamp 7, and when the head clamp 7 is force-fed, the washer 12 is bent and under the state of holding the head bar so as to carry out the force-fed fixing via a steel ball 8 between the carriage 4 and the head clamp 7. The magnetic head is fixed to the carriage at a constant pressure by expanding or contracting of the washer 12 with its spring property to cope with size variations caused by the environmental temp. change due to differences among individual materials in coefficient of expansion. By this method, since an effect of residual screw torque in case of using a screw is not received, misalignment of the magnetic head is hence eliminated.

CONSTITUTION:When power is applied from a driving power through a leader line 18, 18' to an actuator driving coil composed of coil 7, 7' and conductor 10, 11, a magnetic flux 20, 20' is generated in a magnetic flux generating air-gap 19, 19' between magnet 3, 3' and center yoke 2. In this case, a driving force F of actuator generated in said coil is expressed by an equation. Also, the length l1 of said coil 7, 7' is almost equal to or slightly longer than the length l2 of said magnetic flux generating air-gap 19, 19', the ratio of the length of a part crossing the magnetic flux generating air-gap 19, 19' to the total length of the actuator driving coil is made larger and the ineffective part of said coil is decreased. Therefore, the generation efficiency of a driving force can be raised, because it is possible to increase the effective activity ratio of a coil and to make the resistance of said coil to a supply voltage relatively small.
