摘要： PURPOSE:To remove efficiently dust in the inside of an enclosed device by placing a shield plate between a magnetic disc and a filter and fitting obliquely the filter. CONSTITUTION:The filter 8 is provided above the magnetic disc 2, a shield plate 9 is given between the filter 8 and the magnetic disc 2 and an enclosed cover 10 is provided in a magnetic disc, then the pressure above a clamp 4 is lowered by fir flow (pressure change) caused by the rotation of the magnetic disc 2 and the pressure is increased by the peripheral part of the magnetic disc 2, a carriage 6 and a linear motor, and the pressure difference is utilized to place obliquely the filter 8 between the pressure difference. Thus, the air in the inside of the enclosed case is given to the filter efficiently to catch dust.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the influence of change of ambient temperature on the accuracy of positioning of a head by bringing a bearing into contact with one side in the same direction of bearing fixing holes on both sides of a carriage or making the bearing eccentric to bring it very close to the side. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive 6 is filled between upper and lower bearings 4, 5 loose fitted to upper and lower housings 2, 3 of a carriage 1, and head positioning is made by bonding the fixing upper and lower bearings 4, 5 thrusting them in the same direction of upper and lower housings 2, 3 to make them eccentric. By making bearings 4, 5 eccentric in the same direction to upper and lower housing 2, 3, even when difference in thermal expansion is caused by ambient temperature, upper and lower bearings elongate similarly in radial direction to the center of a shaft 7. Accordingly, only the center of the shaft 7 makes parallel movement without giving angle of inclination to the carriage 1, and consequently, relative positional deviation of the head can be prevented.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce less the size of a magnetic disk device by putting a part of a carriage attaching the magnetic head into the area between the head and a magnetic disk when this head is positioned at the inner circumference of the disk. CONSTITUTION:A DC motor 4 attached with a magnetic disk 1 which records the information is provided together with a base 5 attached with the motor 4, a support 12 holding a bearing 6 on the base 5, and a carriage 7 held by the bearing 6. A magnetic head 8 which writes the information and a voice coil 10 which moves the carriage 7 are attached to the carriage 7. Then the part where the carriage 7 is held by the bearing 6 is put between the head and disk when the head moves to the inner circumferential part of the disk. Then the part of the carriage set between the head and the disk can be held by the bearing. As a result, the most exterior size of the carriage can be reduced less than the exterior form of the disk. Thus a magnetic disk device can be miniaturized.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a high-speed and compact magnetic disk device which applies a linear tracking system with large capacity, by securing an access action in a specific direction through an actuator containing a magnetic head attached at the tip of the actuator. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic medium disk 1 is laminated on a spindle motor 6 via a spacer 5 and a magnetic head 2 is set at the tip of an actuator 7. A coil 4 is attached to the actuator 7 with proper spaces secured to a magnet 8 and a center pole 9. Thus a VCM is formed. Then a bearing 10 which can transfer a rail 3 is provided to the actuator 7. In this case, the actuator having the head 2 attached at its tip execute an access action toward A. Here, the coil 4, the center pole 9, the magnet 8 and the rail 3 are set in the same direction as A.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a storage device which contains a signal circuit system and is free from faults due to the disconnection of a signal line, etc., by using a photoisolator to connect a traveling object and the fixed side. CONSTITUTION:A memory medium 1 is rotated by a spindle motor 2 and a magnetic head 3 serves as a storage device consisting of a carriage 6 which is positioned at an optional place on the medium 1 by a stepper 4 and a belt 5, a circuit 7 set on the carriage 6, a photodiode 8, a phototransistor 9 set in opposition to the photodiode 8, a bracket 10 which supports the transistor 9, a cable 11 through which power is supplied to the circuit 7, and a base 12 respectively. A photocoupler 13 consists of the photodiode 8 and the phototransistor 9. The signal of the head 3 is transmitted by the coupler 13 and only the cable 11 receives fatigue caused by the shift of the carriage 6. Thus the signal of the head 3 is relieved from the fatigue lifetime.

The generation of an off-track by the servo-head dislocation can thus be eliminated even in the case of an environmental temp. being changed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the height of a disk device by putting a circuit substrate between disks. CONSTITUTION:A disk 3 is set to a spindle hub 2a of a spindle motor 2 with a certain space via a disk spacer 16. A head 4 seeks the surface of the disk 3 by a voice coil motor 15. A circuit substrate 8 which is hollowed out with no contact with the spacer 16 is put into a space at a place excluding the position of the head 4 set between disks. The signals are supplied to the head 4 and a main substrate 18 via cables 11 and 10 respectively. The substrate 8 is attached to a projected part 19 from a base 1 with a screw 9 so as to avoid a contact with the disk 3. Thus the two conventional circuit substrates packed to the outside of the base 1 can be reduced down to just one. This reduces the size of a disk device as a whole.

A pre-load is applied to the bearing 7 from above by the spring pressure of a spring 9 for the purpose of eliminating ''play'' in the thrust direction to stabilize the rotation of the swing arm 2.
