    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source power supply capable of improving the lighting properties with a minimum discharge start voltage and the shortest filament preheating time, concerning a deuterium discharge tube. SOLUTION: When the deuterium discharge tube 19 is not lit by a discharge start voltage of an initial value of the deuterium discharge tube 19 shown in figure 1, detection results acquired from a detection circuit of the discharge start voltage and a circuit for detecting a discharge current are taken into a CPU 5 of a light source power supply control part, and operation processing is executed, and the optimum discharge start voltage of the deuterium discharge tube is recalculated. Measurement data of a light quantity, and detection results acquired from the detection circuit of the discharge voltage, the discharge current detection circuit, a lighting current detection circuit and a lighting voltage detection circuit, are fetched to the CPU 5 of the light source power supply control part from an analyzer control part host microcomputer 22, and operation processing is executed; and the optimum discharge current value of the deuterium discharge tube 19 and the optimum lighting voltage value of a tungsten lamp are calculated.
