SOLUTION: A swing type working vehicle V which has a swing vehicle body 2 supported on a traveling vehicle body 1 so that it freely swings to the right and left has a step 56 where the operator stands behind the swing vehicle body 2 and a guard member 61 that the operator standing on the step 56 grips. The guard member 61 is positioned in front of the step 56, and formed into a quadrilateral shape having a front pipe 611 , a rear pipe 612 , a left pipe 613 , and a right pipe 614 . Nearby maneuvering operation members such as the guard member 61, a throttle lever 102, an operation machine elevation/vehicle body swing lever 103, a kill switch 104, an HST operation lever 105, a clutch lever 106 are arranged, and those maneuvering operation members can be operated without putting the hand greatly away from the guard member 61.

Accordingly, the reckless traveling of the self traveling vehicle out of control from the guide rail 1 can be prevented.
