For example, when the elevator device 23 in the first multistoried parking area 2 runs into trouble, the delivery vehicle is transferred to a housing room 35A on the second multistoried parking area 3 side from a housing room 25A on the first multistoried parking area 2 side by means of a vehicle transferring device 5 arranged in a communicating part 4 on the vehicle parking floor 21. Vehicle delivery is also carried out by means of the moving carriage 36 and an elevator device 3 on the second multistoried parking area 3 side.

    • PURPOSE:To unnecessitate a driving system for conducted cars and effectively make use of the space, by providing a driving type multi-line conveyor at the lifting base and traversing carrier at the conducting sides and a rotary multi-line conveyor at the parking chamber side. CONSTITUTION:Driving type multi-line conveyors 11, 13 are provided in a lifter base 9 and a traversing carrier 5 and rotary multi-line conveyors 12 are provided in a parking chamber 7. And a conducted car A is placed on the lifter base 9 and right and left tires are stopped at a specified position of the driving type multi-line conveyor 13. Next, the driver gets off and an elevator 8 is driven and the lifter base 9 is transferred to a specified floor 2. And next, the car A is transferred to the carrier 5 by a conveyor stretcher provided in the waiting carrier 5, a conveyor lifter, and a conveyor driving system. Subsequently, the carrier 5 stops at the specified chamber 7 to transfer the car A to the parking chamber 7 by the actuation of respective devices of extending and constricting, lifting, and driving of the conveyor. On driving out, cars can be taken out in the reverse procedure. Loads are treated likewise as well when contained or delivered by the lifter base 9 and the carrier 5.

When the car reaches the specified floor, the car A is moved from a conveyor 24 for placing installed on the lifting-lowering base 23 side to a conveyor 11 for taking-in-and-out, and the car A is shifted onto a conveyor 25 for placing on a travelling truck 8 through a conveyor 12 for transfer. The car A is moved up to the front of a specified parking chamber 7 by the travelling truck 8, and delivered onto a conveyor 26 for housing on the parking chamber 7 side through the conveyor 25 for placing on the travelling truck 8, thus completing housing. When the car A is left from a parking area, inversely, the car A is placed onto a conveyor 24 for placing through the travelling truck 8 and conveyors 12, 11 for taking-in-and-out for transfer and carried out.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency at the time of engaging a gear for transmitting the driving force of a conveyor positioned in the traveling truck side to a conveyor positioned in a parking chamber side by idly rotating the gear, and while engaging it at an appropriate position. CONSTITUTION:A conveyor in the direction crossing the traveling direction of a traveling truck is provided in the traveling truck and parking chambers of both sides of the traveling truck. Next, a driving gear 43 is provided in a coupling shaft 24A, which drives a conveyor positioned in the truck side, through a clutch, and an intermediate part of an oscillating arm 44 is held freely to turn. Next, a transmitting gear 46 to be engaged with the gear 43 and an idle roller 47 at the same diameter with a pitch circle of the transmitting gear 46 are provided in the tip of the arm 44, and an output rod 48a of a jack is connected to the base end of the arm 44. Furthermore, a driven gear 53 and an idle roller 54 at the same diameter with the pitch circle of the driven gear 53 are provided in a driven gear 52 for driving a conveyor positioned in the parking chamber side. The gear 43 is rotated idly by the clutch, and the arm 44 is lowered by a rod 48a to make the rollers 47, 54 contact to each other, and the gears 46 and 53 are slid to be engaged with each other. The time to be required for engagement of the gears is thereby shortened.
