摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the ECP of a metallic structural material constituting a nuclear reactor in a nuclear power plant to minimize the potential of IGSCC by injecting such a small quantity of hydrogen as not to increase a main steam system dosage rate, to facilitate the management, and to prevent the increase in operation cost. SOLUTION: In this nuclear reactor plant, zirconium hydroxide and hydrogen are injected into reactor cooling water to reduce the corrosion potential of the metallic structural material, whereby the stress corrosion and crack of the metallic structural material to make contact with the reactor cooling water is suppressed.

A marker element is dispersed into a matrix at a position at a specified depth from the surface, not the primary coolant contact surface of the equipment, for example, by ion injection. With such an arrangement, for example, when a rotating part of a pump contacts a casing part to get the marker element peeled off the surface, or when the marker element part wears as the wearing of a valve body progresses to a certain extent, the marker element is released into the primary coolant.

Further, by subtracting the max. value A from the value of the real component of the max. value A, the resistance of the liquid between electrodes is calculated.
