摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower a corrosion potential of structural material, and to improve an operation rate of a plant. SOLUTION: Insoluble noble metal particles are supplied from a particle supply pipe 24 connected to a reactor cleanup system pipe 23 to the inside of the reactor cleanup system pipe 23. The insoluble noble metal particles supplied to the inside of the reactor cleanup system pipe 23 are supplied to the inside of a reactor pressure vessel 1 through a water supply pipe 20. Then, the insoluble noble metal particles reach a down comer 14 and a lower part plenum 2. The injected insoluble noble metal particles have particle sizes of 10 μm or less, preferably 0.1 μm or less. By a function of the insoluble noble metal particles adhering to the surface of structural material, an anode current caused by hydrogen oxidation on the surface is increased, to lower a corrosion potential of the structural material.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent corrosion resistance in hightemperature water and to improve wear resistance by forming an anode oxide film on the surface of metal hafnium as the step of integrating metal hafnium into a control rod frame. SOLUTION: Each piece end of a cross tie rod 5 has a groove form, a sheath 3 worked into U-shaped section is welded to each piece of the tie rod 5, metal hafnium 4 having an elliptic section is housed in the internal space formed thereby by two each per blade. The elliptic tube form of the hafnium 4 is formed by forming the 12 form of the elliptic form from a hafnium metal plate by bending as members 4-1 and 4-2, and mutually fixing the members 4-1, 4-2 by butt weld. A surface oxide film layer 4' is formed on the surface of the elliptic hafnium 4 by anode oxidation. An electrolytic cell is filled with electrolyte, and the anode oxidation is performed by using platinum as a cathode and a hafnium bar as an anode. According to the above, a reactivity control material excellent in corrosion resistance and wear resistance can be provided without having a significant influence on the manufacturing process.

SOLUTION: An absorption refrigerator comprises an evaporator which generates vapor by evaporating liquid on the surface of a plurality of heat transfer pipes and an absorber which makes an absorbent on the surface of heat transfer pipes absorb the vapor fed into the absorber. In this absorber, on a cross section of the heat transfer pipes 1 as seen from a longitudinal direction of the transfer pipes 1, vapor channels 2 are formed between a wall surface and the neighboring heat transfer pipes 1 along the wall surface. A gas extraction port 7 is disposed in a set of heat tranfer pipes 1 arranged in a grid array, wherein the surface distance L1 between the heat transfer pipe in a horizontal direction is set to not less than 10 mm, while the surface distance L2 between the heat transfer pipe in a vertical direction is set to not more than 5 mm.

SOLUTION: In the startup operation period from reactor shutdown state to normal power operation state, two step prefilming operation is conducted to form a film on water contact surface of nuclear fuel element and piping material. In the reactor in shutdown state, pH is maintained near neutral and nuclear heating is started to raise the reactor water temperature. At temperature of 250 deg.C or higher, the temperature is kept for 20 to 50 hours to form a corrosion resistive film on the nuclear fuel clad. And then, an alkali water is injected in the reactor water to control the pH between 7.5 and 9 converted into the pH at room temperature to form a fine oxide film with small intake of radioactive ion in the primary system pipes.

摘要： PURPOSE: To improve anticorrosion of nuclear fuel element of a boiling water reactor plant by forming stable oxide film on the surface contacting water during startup operation period. CONSTITUTION: In a period from reactor shutdown state to rated power operation state, dissolved oxygen concentration, hydrogen peroxide concentration or ion concentration in the primary cooling water is controlled to form stable oxide film on the water contacting surface of nuclear fuel elements. After loading nuclear fuel assemblies 15 in the reactor in shutdown state, primary cooling water is circulated with each pump to gradually heat up with the heating of the pumps and then nuclear reaction in nuclear fuel is started. At this stage hydrogen gas or suboxide is injected from a gas or chemicals injection system 12 to reduce the effective oxygen concentration rising owing to radiation decomposition of reactor water to 300ppb or less. Thus stable and fine oxide film can be formed on the water contacting surface of nuclear fuel elements and anticorrosion can be improved without performing preliminary oxidation in factory.

The calculator 19 evaluates the effective surface area contributing to the ion solving from the crud deposited on fuel rods taking the corrosion product concentration in the supply water into account. Also by monitoring the water contact area, iron particle is supplied properly into the primary coolant to maintain the water contact area properly.
