    • PURPOSE:To enable exact correction by correcting the over controlled quantity of the direction, zoom or focus of a monitor camera generated by transmission delay or signal processing delay corresponding to an image information compressing method with a point to be monitored designated. CONSTITUTION:The operator of a monitor center observes a display 21 and commands rotation stop to an operation part 22 a point of the time when a monitor camera 11 displays an image at a target spot A. An electric pan head 12 reaches a direction B by delay time at such a time. The delay time is a total of the image encoding processing time at an image transmitting terminal 10, the time of image data transmission between the image transmitting terminal 10 and an image receiving terminal 20 and image decoding processing time at the terminal 20 or the like and is made different depending on the image information compressing method. Then, the terminal 10 selects delay information corresponding to the image information compressing method under selection at present, and the correcting rotation is stopped by sending a rotation stop control signal to the pan head 12 after the lapse of rotation correcting time corresponding to this information. The zoom/focus adjustment of the monitor camera 11 is similarly corrected as well.

    • PURPOSE:To save a required line number and to attain economical communication by allowing an outgoing terminal equipment to access a center terminal equipment so as to obtain information of a closest local center terminal equipment to the outgoing terminal equipment on a network from the center terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:An optional local center terminal equipment includes a retrieval key in user information of a call setup message and sends the resulting information to a center terminal equipment. The center terminal equipment retrieves a line number and an outgoing terminal equipment number managed by an information dependent access line management section 240 based on the retrieval key in a received message and uses a line number comparison control section 250 to select a terminal equipment closest to the outgoing terminal equipment. When the selected terminal equipment is its own center terminal equipment, a reply message is returned to set a line exchange path. On the other hand, when another local center terminal equipment is selected, the line number of the terminal equipment is informed to the outgoing terminal equipment and the outgoing terminal equipment sends a call setup message using a designated terminal equipment number as a called number again. Thus, number of lines required for the center terminal equipment is saved and economical communication is attained.
