摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a portable telephone system. CONSTITUTION:In each system, a base station controller 3 is connected to a radio base station BS vie a duplex optical fiber 62. This fiber 62 is connected to each station BS of the corresponding system via a star coupler 65. Then each station BS is placed in each area so that the stations BS of different systems are contiguous to each other. Thus it is possible to improve reliability of the long distance transmission between the controller 3 and the station BS and also to use the portable telephone system of another system through the contiguous areas even if a fault occurs in a certain system.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the interference among radio base stations without the provision of a special physical transmission line and to improve the reliability of the system. CONSTITUTION:A base station controller 3 and a radio base station 2 as to each system are interconnected by optical fibers in duplicate. The optical fibers in duplicate are connected to each radio base station 2 of a concerned system via a star coupler. Then each radio base station 2 is arranged to each zone so that radio base stations of different systems are adjacent to each other. The interface between the base station controller 3 and the radio base station 2 is an I interface and each radio base station 2 makes ping-pong transmission with a portable telephone set synchronously with a multi-frame built in the I interface.

CONSTITUTION:Data received by a portable telephone set 1 connected to a radio base station 2 connecting to an exchange 4 or the like through a radio channel are given to an error control circuit 270, in which the error of data is corrected and the corrected data are sent to a data terminal equipment 271 connected to the outside of the system via a predetermined interface. On the other hand, data sent from a data terminal equipment through a predetermined interface are sent from the portable telephone set 1 to the radio base station 2. For example, let the data terminal equipment 271 be a home security equipment, then the home security equipment is controlled from a visiting location and also makes a call to a portable telephone set carried by the user visiting to any place on a predetermined opportunity and required information or the like to the user.

The test call is connected to the supervisory test system via the BS accepting the reservation. The supervisory test system confirms the normality of the connected call.

Each base station determines the regulation rate of the traffic to be processed by itself and that of its slave station based upon the regulation rate transmitted from its master station, the traffic volume of its own station and that transmitted from the slave station and transmits the regulation rate to the slave station.

Furthermore an integrator is added to increase the multiplication factor of a receiver. Thus the integrating action is carried out individually for the sine and cosine wave sides respectively.
