    • PURPOSE:To secure safety for a conductor in a crew's room by moving a movable foot board as required, which is provided for the upper section of a dug section above the floor surface starting from the lower surface of a control platform, thereby opening/closing the dug section. CONSTITUTION:A foot board 3 is fixed onto the floor surface 5 with a hinge 4 so as to be manually rotated. When the foot board 3 is rotated toward the floor surface 5 at the time of driving, a dug section 2 is opened so that a foot space located downward from a seat 6 is secured. In this case, the foot board 3 does not interfere with driver's operations because it is located at the lower section of the seat 6. At the time for conductor's operations, the foot board 3 is rotated toward the dug section 2 so as to be set in such a way as to be flushed with the floor surface 5 by means of wear plates 7 provided at the both sides of the dug section 2 as indicated by a two-dot chain line. By this constitution, the opening portion of the dug section 2 provided underneath a control platform 1 can be opened/closed with ease, thereby securing safety for conductor's operations.

    • PURPOSE:To carry out the accurate positioning of a switch beam simply and surely by detecting a condition that the revolving arm of the switch beam is moved and stopped/positioned in the switched direction by means of a driving device while stopping the driving device in accordance with the detected result. CONSTITUTION:One switching beam 10 is horizontally movably installed with respect to a number of fixed beams 1-5. In this case, a number of switching check relays 19a-19e and position detecting relays 21a-21d corresponding to each fixed beam 1-5 are provided on a base face 6, while providing moving pieces 20, 22 each corresponding to each of these on the bogie 17 of the switch beam 10. Also, a revolving-arm detecting relay 23 as a stop position detecting means is provided on the switch beam 10, while providing an operating piece 24 corresponding to same on a driving shaft 25. When a number of revolving arms 11-13 of the switch beam 1 is moved in the switching direction by means of a driving device 14, the driving device 14 is stopped by the detecting output of the revolving-arm detecting relay 23.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress leakage of noise from a periphery of a carriage to the outside of a vehicle so as to reduce outside noise of the vehicle by maximally reducing a gap between a carriage skirt and a running girder in a monorail vehicle. SOLUTION: A noise shielding plate 9 which narrows a gap between a carriage skirt 10 and a running girder 11 is arranged in the carriage skirt 10, and in a normal/abnormal condition of a vehicle, the gap between the noise shielding plate 9 and the running girder 11 is changed. For controlling the noise shielding plate 9, a signal of a pressure switch 2 detecting a vehicle condition signal or a signal of a traveling condition detector 12 is received by means of a controller 4, a vehicle condition is determined by means of the controller 4, a control command is outputted to an air cylinder 8, and then, the air cylinder 8 controls the position of the noise shielding plate 9 so as to set a gap between the carriage skirt 10 and the running girder 11 to the minimum gap δ1 in the normal condition.

    • PURPOSE:To counterbalance a slant component force of a door with the reactional force of a spring to smoothen the opening and closing of the door by rotating a lever in an arc following the rotation of an arm to tense the spring, in a device with which the door is opened/closed in its swing motion by means of the arm. CONSTITUTION:A door 2 is provided on a vehicle body 1 by means of an opening/closing device 3. The opening/closing device 3 is composed of a rotary shaft 4 provided along the inclination of the door 2, arms 5 and 5' the one-side ends of which are fixed to the upper and lower parts of the rotary shaft 4, respectively, and the other ends of which are supported on the door 2 by means of bearings 6 and 6', respectively, and bearings 7 and 7' supporting the rotary shaft 4. In this case, a lever 8 following the rotation of the rotary shaft 4 is provided at the lower end of the rotary shaft 4 through a universal joint 9. Also, the top end of the lever 8 is connected to the vehicle body 1 by means of a spring 10. Thus, the lever 8 is rotated in an arc in connection with the opening and closing of the door 2 to tense the spring 10, whereby the working force due to inclination of the door 2 can be eliminated.

    • PURPOSE:To easily release the brake of an emergency-stop vehicle and carry out rescue by providing a connecting plug having a command circuit which is connected to the operating circuit of a deadman brake on the end portion of a head vehicle and enabling this connecting plug to be connected to the connecting plug of other vehicles. CONSTITUTION:In a singly-operated monorail vehicle, if an operator gets into abnormality to lose his hold of a deadman switch 3, the switch 3 is turned off. Thereupon a deadman relay 4 is released opening the relay contact 5 thereof to cut off electrification to a command circuit 6 and, therefore, a deadman-brake solenoid valve 9 is demagnetized operating a deadman brake. In this case, the rescue connection jumper plug 8 of a rescue train 2 is connected to each rescue connection plug receiver 7 provided on both of a stopped train 1 which has stopped due to the occurrence of abnormality and the rescue train 2. The deadman command circuit 6 of the stopped train 1 is controlled by the deadman command circuit 6 of the rescue train 2 to release the brake thereof.

In addition, a wiper switch 16 for obtaining information for grasping wetting condition, and a characteristic setting unit 14b for obtaining the information on the characteristic change of lining itself are provided. Furthermore, a pneumatic hydraulic conversion efficiency detector 14c is provided. And these input signals are input into a CPU 14a to obtain the compensation value of brake control command, and in accordance with the brake control command value in which the compensation value thus obtained is added, an electropneumatic amplifier 4 and the regulating valve 15b of a brake force regulating device are controlled.
