摘要： PURPOSE:To suppress an overvoltage without fail at all times even when abnormality occurs and thereby to obtain highly reliable protection of machines and equipment by a construction wherein electric valves closing when the overvoltage is detected and voltage suppressing elements are provided in parallel on the stator side of an alternating-current excitation electric rotating machine. CONSTITUTION:Electric valves 12a to 12c are constructed of thyristors put in antiparallel connection, while voltage suppressing elements 13a to 13c are constructed of arrestors, and they are put in a (delta) connection and connected to a line between breakers 6 and 7 through a main transformer 5. When any disadvantage occurs in a voltage detector 9, a terminal voltage of an alternating-current excitation electric rotating machine 1 rises, and at the time point when it reaches an overvoltage detection value Vov, an overvoltage detection signal is generated from an overvoltage detecting device 8. In response to the overvoltage detection signal, a gate pulse control circuit 14 operates and supplies a gate pulse to the thyristors of the electric valves 12a... The respective thyristors of the electric valves 12a to 12c turn ON and the voltage suppressing elements 13a to 13c are inserted in parallel into the line between the breakers 6 and 7.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make possible the formation of a roughness, by which the reflection of light is reduced, by a method wherein a boron oxide is coated on one main surface of a substrate and the diffusion of boron is performed in the substrate while halogen gas is supplied in an inactive atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:Ethylene glycol monoether, in which a boric acid is dissolved, is coated on one main surface of a p-type poly Si substrate 1 and is dried to form a boron oxide coat film 2. Then, a heating treatment is performed in a nitrogen gas-containing atmosphere to react the film 2 with silicon and to form a borosilicate glass 3. Moreover, halogen gas, such as chlorine gas, is supplied in an atmosphere containing chlorine and nitrogen and the other main surface, which is not covered with the glass 3, of the substrate 1 is subjected to vapor phase etching with the chlorine gas. After this, the supply of the chlorine gas is stopped and a high-temperature heating treatment is performed in a nitrogen gas-containing atmosphere to form a surface roughness 5 and a boron diffused layer (a p layer) 4. Thereby, the surface roughness, by which the reflection of light is reduced, can be formed using the low-cost substrate.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent damages to occur at a rotary machine due to the secular change of foundation concrete and improve reliablity of the device by providing a detecting means to detect the deformation amount of the elastic body portion at every stay and adjusting means which enables adjustment in accordance with the deformation amount deviated from the reference value. CONSTITUTION:An elastic body 8b of a stay made of a -shaped metallic spring being fixed at a foundation concrete 9, and the tip portion of an adjusting bolt 10 being screwed into the elastic body 8b are abutted at a surface of a rigid body 8a of the stay being connected to the upper bracket. Between the foundation 9 and the deformed portion of the elastic body 8b, a contact piece 11a is abutted with the deformed portion of the elastic body 8b, while a dial indicator 11 having a display part 11c in the status where a base 11b is fixed at the foundation 9. At the time of installation, dial of each indicator 11 is set at a reference value, e.g. zero. By the above mentioned mechanism, possible damages to occur on account of recular change can be prevented.
