摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid digital recording by mistake even when a tape that is not suited for digital recording is used by providing a digital signal generator and an error rate detection device, etc. SOLUTION: This device has a digital signal generator 14 for measuring an error rate and an error detection device 15 for detecting the recorded state of digital signal recording/reproduction. Further, a function is provided to automatically judge whether signal is recorded in digital or in analog according to the measurement result of the error rate. As a result, when it is judged that digital recording is not possible based on the measurement result of the error rate of a cassette tape 4, digital recording is switched to analog recording, thus preventing malfunction where an image and an audio that a user requires cannot be recorded.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make the operation of a video recording reservation easy and to prevent the error of an input by inputting a reservation time and channel data from an input part, inputting a reservation date from a date data inputting part and setting the video reservation while transferring them from a converter 5 to a VTR. CONSTITUTION:An input/converter 5 is in a card shape and a program sheet is superposed on it. An input part 6 is put on the program sheet and a window 16 is set to the position of a date so that a date data inputting part 9 is set to the date data. The input part 9 reads in data with depressing a date setting button 15 and then the reservation date is registered. Next, a time setting button 14 is depressed while setting the aim of the window to the mark of the starting time of a program to be reserved. The input/converter 5 detects at what position of the program sheet the aim is present, with magnetism and then a reservation information are read out as coordinates data by a coordination detecting part 7. A data transform part 8 converts data of a X-coordinate to video channel data, data of a Y-coordinaste to data of a video starting time. Further, data of the Y-coordinate are converted to data of the video finishing time with depressing the button (14). Thus, a reservation is set.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the rise of an internal temperature and at the same time to reduce the noise level in a stop state for a magnetic recording/reproducing device by driving a fan motor only when a capstan motor or a cylinder motor is driven. CONSTITUTION:The output of a cylinder motor start control circuit 3 and the output of a capstan motor start control circuit 6 undergo the diode OR and are supplied to a fan motor drive circuit 8 as a control signal. In other words, a fan motor 7 works only when a cylinder motor 1 or a capstan motor 4 is working. In this case, the power consumption of a magnetic recording/ reproducing device 9 is increased together with the rise of the internal temperature. Thus the motor 7 is driven for the decrease of the internal temperature. Furthermore the motor 7 does not work in a stop state of the device 9 and therefore the noise level is reduced in the stop state.

The system control circuit 15 makes a cassette tape 34 run via a servo circuit 43 at a tape speed for recording in an analog signal format, converts the information signals in the digital signal format to the analog signal format via a digital signal record/reproduction switch circuit 5, an MPEG decoder 6 and an NTSC encoder 7, and transmits the signals to an analog circuit system.

Then in the case of a TV without any RGB input terminal, the RGB signal, a blanking signal and a video signal are inputted to an RGB signal synthesis circuit 5 and an the synthesis output signal is inputted to an RF converter 6, in which the signal is RF-modulated and outputted, then the resulting signal is received by the TV 3 without any RGB input terminal and displayed as a character.
