摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the width direction of a solder paste and to suppress a bridge between adjacent soldering pads by a method wherein a silk-screen printed part is formed around surface mounting-type narrow-pitch IC pads on the board. SOLUTION: Surface mounting-type narrow-pitch IC pads 1 are provided, a silk-screen printed part 2 is formed on a resist 3 at the pads 1, a metal mask 5 is placed on a board 4, a solder paste 6 is moved in the direction of an arrow A by using a squeegee 7, and the solder paste 6 is supplied onto the IC pads from opening parts 8 in the metal mask 5. At this point, the thickness of the solder paste to be supplied is added to the thickness (d) of the metal mask 5, and the solder paste is supplied excessively by the difference (f) between the thickness portion (c) of a resist printed part plus the silk-screen printed part and the thickness (e) of the soldering pads 1. Thereby, the width direction of the solder paste can be reduced, and it is possible to prevent a solder bridge between the adjacent soldering pads 1.

To prevent outflow of lubricating oil, leaking through the oil seals 9a and 9b by any chance, to the pulley 8 side, an oil seal 9c, further, is arranged as a second seal means. Leaking oil gathers in a space formed among the oil seals 9a and 9b and the oil seal 9c, and a discharge port 5 through which lubricating oil leaking through the oil seals 9a and 9b is discharged to the outside of a vacuum pump is formed in a casing 5. This constitution seals lubricating oil, leaking through the oil seals 9a and 9b, by means of the oil seal 9c and discharges the leaking lubricating oil through the discharge port 5b to the outside.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of a vacuum pump by providing an inundation-prevention sheet at the end of a through hole formed through a casing to prevent the penetration of leakage oil from oil seals thereinto and discharge the oil to the outside as well as to prevent the inundation from the outside thereinto. SOLUTION: In the space between oil seals 9a and 9b and an oil seal 9c, a through hole 5b is formed through a casing 5 for discharging leakage lubricating oil from the oil seals 9a and 9b to the outside. A sheet 10 with its smallest- diameter portion being larger than the bore of the through hole is provided at the end of the through hole 5b with an interval therebetween. Leakage lubricating oil from the oil seals 9a and 9b is sealed off by the oil seal 9 and is then discharged through the through hole 5b to the outside. The discharge of the leakage lubricating oil prevents the tearing of a belt for transmitting engine torque caused by the deposition thereon of leakage lubricating oil lead toward a pulley 8.
