    • PURPOSE:To improve the workability and safety of installation work to a ceiling surface by a method wherein the hooking unit of a lower hanging device is retreated to the upper part of the hooking unit of an upper hanging device when a pair of upper and lower hanging devices are arrayed at the central position of a combining unit and respective units are coupled by a regular clamping means. CONSTITUTION:When a pair of upper and lower hanging devices 4, 4' are arranged at the central positions of respective combining units, horizontal posture can be retained at a point having good balance upon temporary hanging. On the other hand, when respective units are connected by a regular clamping means, the hooking unit 7 of the lower hanging device 4' is retreated to the upper part than the hooking unit 5 of the upper hanging device 4 in a relation between a pair of upper and lower hanging devices 4, 4'. Accordingly, upon service after installation, when the regular clamping means is released to remove respective units, the lower hanging device 4' returns to the initial position thereof and temporary hanging condition can be realized surely by the hooking unit 7. According to this method, the installation work of the air- conditioning machine to the ceiling surface can safely be carried out.

    • PURPOSE:To enable an inspection cover to be fitted or removed and enable th cover to be slidably opened or closed by a method wherein a pair of slide fittings comprised of a sliding groove and a hook fitted to a cut groove and a slit hole are rotatably fitted in an inspection port and a supporting point and then the hook of each of the sliding fittings is fitted and fixed into the slit hole in the inspection cover. CONSTITUTION:A pair of fittings 1 have a hook 2, a tongue 3, a slide groove 6 and a cut groove 7. An inspection cover 8 has a fine elongated tapered slit hole 4 and a rectangular hole 5 at right and left bent flanges and a screw hole 9 at a central part. A combination of the fittings 1 and the inspection cover 8 is carried out such that the hook part 2 and the slit hole 4 are combined and the tongue 3 and the rectangular hole 5 are combined and then they are fixed with screws 11. Suction air passes from a side surface of the inspection cover 8 through a filter 12 and further passes an indoor device and then the suction air is blown out. The inspection cover 8 is held by the supporting points 10 and this inspection cover becomes normally a designed surface against a lower surface. Opening or closing of the cover is carried out by sliding it from a cut 7 of each of the fittings, it is rotated downwardly so as to perform a maintenance work of the filter 12. The inspection cover 8 can be fixed or removed by fitting or removing two screws 11.

    • PURPOSE:To save labor of setting self-diagnosis of control boards in an indoor unit and an outdoor unit respectively, by enabling execution of setting in one place by a remote control device. CONSTITUTION:A control mechanism 1 of a remote-control device 6 selects a mode of self-diagnosis of a control board by a setting device 3. For instance, the self-diagnosis mode of the control board is selected by the setting device 3, and in this mode, a code corresponding to the self-diagnosis of the control board of an indoor unit is set by the setting device 3. This control board self- diagnosis code of the remote control device 6 is stored in a storage mechanism 4 by the control mechanism 1 and also transmitted from a transmission mechanism 5 to a transmission mechanism 8 of the indoor unit 11 through a control line 15. Receiving this indoor unit control board self-diagnosis code, the indoor unit 11 executes a processing of the self-diagnosis by a control mechanism 7 and stores the result in a storage mechanism 9, while transmitting it from the transmission mechanism 8 to a transmission mechanism 5 of the remote control device 6 through the control line 15. On reception of the result, the remote control device 6 stores it in the storage mechanism 4 and also displays it on a display device 2.

    • PURPOSE:To get a stable refrigerating cycle by a method wherein a mechanical structure capable of moving an orifice is arranged in such a way as a distance from an inlet port of a feeding-out pipe of an accumulator to a point where an effect of contraction flow shoes the largest value and the lowest pressure can be varied. CONSTITUTION:When a length of a connection pipe to be installed at a site is short, surplus refrigerant is generated in a refrigerating cycle, and it becomes necessary to keep the surplus refrigerant in the accumulator, resulting in that an effect of contraction flow at extreme ends of a discharging out pipe 11 and compressor 1 in an inner oil returning pipe 14. Thus, a movable orifice 12 is moved toward the compressor 1 so as to prevent the extreme end of the oil returning pipe from being placed at a position where the fastest flow speed is found and an effect of contraction flow has the largest value. In turn, in view of a consideration that the refrigerant shows a lack in its volume caused by a lack of refrigerant when the length of the connecting pipe to be installed on site is the longest pipe length, it becomes necessary to increase an amount of returned refrigerant from the accumulator. Due to this fact, in order to improve the effect of contraction flow at the extreme ends of the feeding-out pipe 11 and the inner oil returning pipe 14 at the compressor 1, the movable orifice is moved toward the accumulator 5 so as to cause the extreme end of the oil returning pipe to occupy a location where the flow speed is the fastest one and an effect of contraction flow shows the largest value.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a stable operation over the entire range of the operating frequency of a compressor from low to high frequencies by setting the coefficient of PiD operation for regulating the opening of an electronic expansion valve in terms of the operating frequency. CONSTITUTION:The operation of opening of an electronic expansion valve 4 is carried out by a control calculator 9, and an opening change is output to the valve 4. The calculator 9 reads a delivery gas temperature Td from a delivery gas temperature sensor 8 and a condensing temperature Tc from a discharge pressure sensor 9, and operates a differential temperature (Td-Tc) as the degree of superheat SH. It reads a frequency Hz from an inverter 6 and sets a predetermined degree of superheat SH0. It operates the opening change PO of the expansion valve with this information. Its operational formula has three types of terms of a proportional term of a difference between the SH and the SH0, a differentiating term of variation amount of the SH, and an integral value of the accumulated values of the differences of the SH and the SH0, and used in the form of multiplying the calculated value of adding the proportional term, the differentiating term and the integrating term by a coefficient for converting to the change PO. If the frequency is low, an output opening change is reduced to perform a smooth control, while if the frequency is high, the output opening change is increased to perform a fast control.
