摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the availability of a memory by storing the store address of the graphic data in an address data table of a multi-dimensional array corresponding to the position coordinates and using indirectly the memory area of an unused address data table. CONSTITUTION:An address data table 11 is set opposite to the graphic data having a spatial spread, and the table 11 consists of an array having a dimension larger than the spread of the graphic data. The stored destination address of a graphic data table 12 storing each graphic data is stored in the table 11. When the memory area of the table 1 corresponding to an optional cell 14 is filled with data, the relative information used for indirect application of the memory areas allocated to other cells 14 is stored in the table 11 instead together with the store destination address of the table 12. Thus the availability of the table 11 is improved.

Further, the circuits are connected through a graphic editing circuit 107 and an I/O device 108 to a memory device 109, a display device (display) 111, a graphic input device 112, a graphic instructing device 113 and a graphic data storage device 114. In such a case, for the size of the window to enlarge and display the enlargement object area, the enlargement ratio of the enlargement object area is obtained as to the area made into the display candidate, and the window is placed in the display candidate area in which the enlargement ratio is made maximum among them. Thus, even when the shape of the enlargement object area is changed, the display can be always executed with the maximum enlargement ratio.

摘要： In correspondence with the graphic data having a spatial extent, there is the address data table configured of arrays, the dimension of which are not smaller in number than the dimensions of the extent of the graphic data. Coordinate transformation is performed between the graphic data and the address data table, whereby any desired point on each figure can be brought into correspondence with one array number of the address data table. Those memory addresses, of a graphic data table at which the individual graphic data items are sorted, are subsequently stored in the address data table. In case of searching for graphic data located at any desired position, the corresponding array number of the address data table is obtained on the basis of the position, whereupon the desired figure can be searched for through that memory address to the graphic data which is stored. In a case where the memory space of the address data table corresponding to any desired one of cells (each of which is a subspace of a graphic space) is full, relevant information of indirectly utilizing a memory space assigned to another of the cells is substitutionally stored in the address data table, cojointly with the memory address of the graphic data table storing the corresponding graphic data so that the address data table can be used efficiently. When the figure discriminators of the graphic data are stored in the address data, lines or points, the relevant attribute information items, or the like can be extracted selectively and efficiently by deciding the figure discriminators on the searching operation.

Then a branch line 508 indicating a branch is displayed from the position and the new time scale 510 is displayed.

The inter- picture operation function is executed to obtain a division result picture 6. Thus, division between data is quickly performed.

CONSTITUTION:Each picture element of a positioning objective picture 1 and fetched into a gradation picture memory 6 has a certain level of density. An affine conversion process part 9 applies the affine scan to the gradation picture 1. At the same time, the part 9 binaries the picture elements undergone the affine scan at an optional threshold level. These picture elements are arranged one by one and a binary reduced picture 3 is stored in a binarized picture memory 7. A pattern matching process part 10 applies a pattern matching process to the picture 3 via a template pattern 4 containing the positional features stored previously. This matching degree is stored in the memory 6 as the multi-level data, and a matching position having the highest degree of coincidence is extracted out of the multi-level data obtained at each pattern matching position.
