    • PURPOSE:To enhance the power factor of purchased power at the time of varying the power in a place by varying the output terminal voltage of the generator in cooperation with the variation in a load. CONSTITUTION:When a load variation start signal 12 is applied, a program signal generator 14 generates an output voltage Vp responsive to the shape of the variation in the load predetermined in advance. Signal distributor 14A, 14B distribute the output voltage Vp, and apply the voltage through contacts 16A, 16B to the automatic voltage regulators 18A, 18B of generators 5, 6 of a non-utility generator facility. The regulators 18A, 18B regulate thyristor exciters 24A, 24B in response to the output voltages of voltage setters 19A, 19B, the output voltages of signal distributors 14A, 14B, the output voltages of voltage transformers 26A, 26B and the outputs of reactive power compensators 30A, 30B. In this manner, the power factor of the purchased power at the time of varying the power in the place can be enhanced.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the received power-factor, by taking the operation outputs of electric generators into consideration and distributing generator control instruction signals to automatic voltage regulators for the generators and thereby controlling the reactive power share. CONSTITUTION:The received power-factor of an electric station connected to a plurality of electric generators and loads is improved. The difference between the reactive power detected by a reactive power detector 1 and a setpoint is determined. A polarity discriminator 3 is operated by the difference signal DELTAQ. The output signals of output limit setting units 6 for the generators 10 are applied to generator output margin detectors 7 to produce output margin signals, which are set as distribution coefficients for the generators 10 by an adder 8 and calculators 9. Multipliers 4 multiply said difference signals by the distribution coefficients. Then, the products are applied to the generators 10 through controllers 5. Therefore, the reactive power share can be controlled in consideration of the margins between the real outputs of the generators and allowable values therefore.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent an overvoltage from applying to a field winding and a field circuit device by composing a bypass circuit when the reverse voltage of the winding becomes the prescribed value or higher. CONSTITUTION:A current is flowed as a solid line before a field switch 5 is opened, a positive voltage is generated at field P-pole and a negative voltage is generated at N-pole. Negative voltage is generated at the P-pole and positive voltage is generated at the N-pole at switch opening time. At this time, when a voltage V0 between the gate and the cathode of a thyristor 11 for a bypass circuit becomes the specified value or larger, a signal is applied to the gate of a thyristor 11 by the voltage divided by resistors 15, 16 to conduct the thyristor 11. As a result, a reverse voltage generated between the field P- and N-poles when the switch 6 is opened is suppressed to the voltage of the product of the current flowed to the thyristor 11 and the resistance.
