Moreover, it determines a stand-by story for the double deck elevator so that the elevator stops at the second story and the third story where there is the most use situation obtained by adding use situations for continuous two stories simultaneously in a second embodiment.

Otherwise, the operation is performed by using the upper or lower cage switched depending on the frequency of use or a time zone so that damages to the upper and lower cages are kept almost equal. In this way, the upper and lower cages are of different types, leading to a higher degree of freedom in design. Damages to the upper and lower cages are kept almost equal, leading to efficient work for maintenance and less cost for maintenance.

Thus long hall call is prevented in case a large number of hall calls is made by passengers having got in at a particular floor.
