The controller 2 regulates the brightness of each of hall indicators 41-6--44-6 on the indication of a microprocessor unit 21 according to the operation state of the elevator. The hall indicators 41-6--44-6 is severally composed of a dot type indicator, and the microprocessor unit 21 varys the time width of pulse current flowing in the luminescent element of the dot type indicator to regulate the brightness. In addition, data housed in EEPRON 23 communicate to the hall indicators 41-6--44-6 through a transmitting path 26-1, and the brightness data is added to communication data at this time to regulate the brightness of digital display.

Also, information data transmission and receipt is performed via a bus L17b among other transmission and receiving circuits. In this case, a test device 9S is connected to each of the buses L17a and L17b via a network control device 9S2. This test device 9 is established as a transmission control station, when the idle state of the buses L17a and L17b is detected as continuing for the predetermined time, and the device 9 is made to transmit test operation data.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator controller having easy in use by necessitating the door closing operation artificially until the door closing is completed, inverting a door immediately when the door closing operation is interrupted, and performing the door opening operation. SOLUTION: If a close limit switch(CLS) 9 which is turned ON when door closing is completed is not ON, it is judged whether the operation is door opening extension in a door opening extension mode or not. If it is not the door opening extension, door closing is completed. If it is judged that the operation is in the door opening extension mode, it is judged whether the door closing operation is continued or not, and if the door closing operation is continued, the door closing operation is started. Next, whether door closing is completed or not is judged by ON/OFF of the CLS 9, and a door is closed in case of OFF and the operation ends. Here, if the door closing operation is interrupted before closing of the door 8 is completed, the door is inverted and the door opening operation is started. Whether door opening is completed or not is judged by ON/OFF condition of an open limit switch(OLS) 91, opening of the door is completed, and the operation ends.

SOLUTION: A display data is stored in an EEPROMZE1 in an elevator control device Z1 , and after working this display data, a display device of landing, car terminals H1 to H4 , each guide device H1ND1 to H1ND4, C1ND1 is refreshed through transmitting paths L1 , L2 based on the display data. When a power supply is closed in the elevator control device Z1 , after initial processing, a car call and hall call are input processed, to perform inputting/ outputting the other general data. Display processing of a trouble display code to an in-car display device C1ND1 is performed, to running control an operating direction of a car C1 in accordance with a hall and car call. Timing of whether a display guide of present hall terminal display devices H1ND1 to H1ND4 must be updated or not is decided, to be transmitted to total hall terminals H1 to H4 when the timing must be decided.
