摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a bias cleaning device suitable for toners remaining on a transfer belt, a transfer roller or an intermediate transfer body, and an electrostatic recording device using the same. CONSTITUTION:A bias cleaning device, which has a cleaner unit 16 provided with both a conductive brush roller 17 for collecting toner remaining on a toner image carrier 10 by making sliding contact with the toner image carrier 10 while a DC voltage of the opposite polarity to that of the toner is applied thereto, and a collecting roller 18 for collecting the toner on contact with the conductive brush roller 17 while a DC voltage having the same polarity as the voltage applied to the conductive brush roller 17 and being higher than that voltage is applied thereto, has a toner charge reduction means 13 provided upstream from the cleaner unit 16 in the direction of rotation of the toner image carrier 10, for reducing the amount of charge of the toner on the toner image carrier 10.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent an image forming medium from scattering when separating a transfer material from a transfer carry belt and to restrain deterioration of an image from progressing, in an image forming device having the transfer carry belt. CONSTITUTION:A voltage power source having the oppositie polarity of that of the image forming medium is connected to a drive roller 11, where the transfer material 9 is separated from the transfer carry belt 10. Further, the device is provided with a corona discharger, which, when non-image surface of the transfer material 9 is destaticized immediately after the separation of the transfer material 9 from the transfer carry belt 10, applies a voltage having the same polarity as that of the drive roller to a shield member 17 situated in the vicinity of the drive roller 11. In this structure, the image forming medium is prevented from scattering when the transfer material 9 is separated, and a normal image free of deterioration can be obtained on the transfer material 9.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent scattering of an image forming medium generated when transfer material is stripped from a transfer carrying belt and to suppress the deterioration of the image in the image forming device provided with a transfer carrying belt. CONSTITUTION:A part of a driving roll 11 where the transfer material 9 is stripped from a transfer carrying belt 10 is grounded through a grounding circuit 13 provided with electrostatic capacity load and furthermore, a contact destaticizing member 15 of the transfer material 9 is provided immediately after stripping. Thus discharge generated when the transfer material 9 is stripped is prevented and a normal image without any deterioration can be obtained on the transfer material 9.

Consequently, when the exposed part of the belt 9 is deteriorated, the deteriorating exposed part is taken-up in the take-up part 7 to expose the unused belt part stored in the belt drawing part 8 between the belt drawing part 8 and belt take-up part 7. Consequently, the belt can be used for a long time without being replaced.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent a deterioration in image quality by providing a brush roller for removing paper powder on the upstream side of a developing roller and isolating the paper powder stuck to the brush roller in an independent chamber. CONSTITUTION:In a nonmagnetic one-component developing system, not only residual toner 13 but also the powder 14 of a paper sheet used as a recording medium 17 are stuck to the surface of a photoreceptor 1. For preventing the powder 14 from being mixed with the toner 13 and the image quality from being made irregular, when the paper powder 14 enters a developing unit 2, the brush roller 8 is provided in contact with the photoreceptor 1. As the brush roller 8, a fibrous state one is preferable and the same rotational direction as that of the photoreceptor 1 is effective. The paper powder 14 scraped by the brush roller 8 is stuck thereto, scraped by a scraping part 15 composed of a blade and preserved in a reservoir. Therefore, the paper powder 14 is prevented from entering the developing unit 2 because the paper powder 14 never goes to the side of a developing roller 9.

Further, the charge generating part of the destaticization means 21, for instance, a straight line connecting a wire with the peeling point of the transfer material 9 from the transferring/carrying belt 10 is not covered so that the charge generated by the destaticization means 21 is imparted to the rear side of the transfer material 9, to obtain the peeling point.
