    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the fixing performance by respectively winding recording paper on two heating and pressure rollers without widening the contact surface of the heating and pressure rollers for fixing every surface of the recording paper in the case of simultaneously performing the fixing of both surfaces for fixing in case of both-side printing. SOLUTION: Unfixed toner images held on the first surface and the second surface of the recording paper 3 are fixed by respectively bringing the first surface (the second surface) of the recording paper 3 into contact with the heating and pressure roller 1a and the second surface (the first surface) into contact with the heating and pressure roller 1b using two opposed heating and pressure rollers 1a and 1b and respectively winding the recording paper on two heating and pressure rollers 1a and 1b. Thus, the unfixed toner image held on the front and rear of the recording paper receives sufficient quantity of heat and is dissolved by respectively winding the recording paper on the heating and pressure rollers. Thus, the occurrence of a defective image so called offsetting is eliminated, so that sufficient fixing intensity is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a high-quality toner image having high black density without fogging by providing a magnetic field generating means for generating a magnetostatic field in a hollow sleeve consisting of non-magnetic material which is provided on a recording electrode side and on a downstream side in the recording direction of the recording electrode. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic field generating means 11 for attracting a non-image toner which is just after passing through a very small gap part to the outer periphery of the sleeve 3 and a means for turning the sleeve 3 are provided in the cylindrical sleeve 3 consisting of the non-magnetic material which is provided in a space formed by the recording electrode 5 and a recording member and on the downstream side in the moving direction of the electrode 5. By the action of the carrying force of the recording member, the means 11 removes the non-image toner which flows out from the very small gap part at the edge of the electrode 5 from the recording member with the edge part of the electrode 5 spatially and temporarily in an instant by overcoming a gravity field, so that charges are not moved from image forming toner which is electrostatically charged to the non-image toner and the high-quality image having distinct image contour and high black density without fogging is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To perform excellent printing even though a printing pattern is changed by controlling a voltage applied to a coil by a controlling means which outputs a control driving signal. CONSTITUTION:A printing data B is inputted into a maximum value circuits 11 in synchronization with clock signals T. The number of the clock signals during the period the printing data B becomes continuously high from the rise of a starting signal A to the rise of a striking signal. A maximum value M is judged and stored in the circuit 11. A function circuit 12 determines a voltage control signal F corresponding to the maximum value 7 based on the function defined in the inside. A voltage control circuit 13 converts a power source voltage E to a driving voltage K which is proportional to a voltage control signal F. A pulse generating circuit 14 generates a pulse W having a specified pulse width in synchronization with the rise of the striking signal. A driving circuit 15 applies the driving voltage K to the coil 4, whose driving is specified, for the period of the pulse width of the pulse W in synchronization with clock signal T and drives a printing hammer 6.
