摘要： PURPOSE:To provide high density to recording electrodes, and improve the resolution of a recording image by a method wherein an insulation layer is provided on a rigid magnetic body within a range of a specified thickness, and on the top of it, a recording unit, a driving IC pad and wiring area are arranged, and a distance between the recording unit and magnetic body is made closer. CONSTITUTION:An insulating resin 5 with a thickness of 1-30mum is formed on a magnetic plate made of such as iron, nickel. A conductive layer is formed on the top of it to obtain a magnetic body laminated base 1. On the base 1, a recording pattern 2, driving IC pad 4 and wiring area are formed by photo-etching process. When an conductive magnetic toner 9 is supplied at the leading end of the base 1, a toner chain 9a is formed along a magnetic line of force which is formed between a permanent magnet 11 and the base 1. When voltage is applied to the pattern 2 from a pulse driving circuit 12, electric charge is injected in the toner 9, and at the same time, electric charge with the opposite polarity is induced at the boundary between a conductive layer 10a and dielectric layer 10b of a recording medium 10, and the two electric charges are strongly drawn to each other. When the medium 10 is moved in the direction shown by arrow B under this condition, the chain 9a is broken, and a developed image is formed on the medium 10 by the charged toner 9.

摘要： PURPOSE:To record a distinct image even though image recording is restarted as soon as an upper housing is restored to an ordinary state by setting a toner reservoir so that it may be positioned on an upper side than a recording electrode at the time of rotating and opening the upper housing. CONSTITUTION:The rotation supporting point 112 of the upper housing 110 where an image recording part including the recording electrode 2 and the toner reservoir 13 is housed is set so that the toner reservoir 13 may be positioned on the upper side than the recording electrode 2 at the time of rotating and opening the upper housing 110. Therefore, toner 40 in the toner reservoir 13 is concentrated in a gap direction between the recording electrode 2 and the recording medium 3 at the time of rotating and opening the upper housing 110. When the upper housing 110 is restored to the ordinary state, the toner is supplied to a gap part uninterruptedly and the distinct image is recorded even though image recording is directly restarted, because the toner 40 in the toner reservoir 13 is held in a dense state.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a picture of sharp resolution by constituting a recording electrode in such a manner that an electrode pattern is exposed from the surface of an electrode substrate to the surface of its edge on the recording medium side. CONSTITUTION:The recording electrode 2 is constituted in such a manner that the electrode pattern 22 on the recording electrode substrate 25 is formed from the edge surface, which faces the recording medium 3, to the surface of the recording electrode substrate 25. Therefore, a toner electrode is brought into contact with the electrode pattern 22 which is in contact with the edge and surface of the recording electrode substrate 25, and a contact area is increased. Accordingly, recording electrode density is increased, and sufficient, required area where toner comes into contact with the electrode pattern is secured even when an electrode material have to be made thinner because of producing and processing the electrode. Thus, a picture is more sharply recorded.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a highly reliable and compact recording electrode capable of satisfactory resolution by providing a constitution in which a conductive layer is formed in a plurality of fine linear patterns and a conductive magnetic layer is formed above the equivalent of an electrode head. CONSTITUTION:A conductive layer is formed in a plurality of fine linear patterns, on each one of which a conductive magnetic material is laminated. In this way, an electrode head section pattern 3 is formed. Since the conductive magnetic material is directly plated on the conductive material pattern of the electrode head section, said material has an extremely high conductivity with the background conductive material and does not require any connecting means such as wire bonding with a drive section pattern 2. In addition, the adequate thickness of film of a conductive material is about a few mum, and the film can be formed by techniques such as sputtering, plating and film application. Furthermore, the pattern of the electrode head section becomes an ideal form for photoetching by making the pattern a simple linear form. Thus an electrode head pattern of higher density fine lines can be formed and thereby a compact electrode with improved resolution and reliability can be obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To stably execute a clear high resolution image recording at a high speed by staggeredly providing various magnetic substances in the arraying direction of a recording electrode having various magnetism in contact with a conductive magnetic developer on a recording member. CONSTITUTION:A permanent magnet 2 which is a magnetic field generating means is arranged still inside the recording member 1 and always forms a certain magnetic field. Many recording electrodes 3 which are arranged to have a gap with the recording member are arrayed in row on an insulative substrate 4 which is made of, for example, a ceramic or an epoxy resin, etc. The recording electrodes 3 are formed by a permalloy, a nickel, etc., which are magnetic members so that they have equal magnetism. And in this arraying direction, the magnetic substance 5 is staggeredly arranged alternately between every recording electrode and itself through an insulating layer. Consequently, the aggregate of the conductive magnetic developer in a flux state, which is independent, and does not receive an affection from the adjoining recording electrode, can be always stably made to exist in every recording electrode. Thus, the clear high resolution image can be stably recorded.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable recording of high resolution to be performed by strengthening magnetic combination, with toner, by a method wherein by combination of a photoetching method and a plating method, a group of recording electrode of thick film thickness and high density, composed of conductive materials is formed on an insulating substrate, and non-conductive magnetic materials are filled in spaces thereof. CONSTITUTION:A thin film of a metal layer easy to be oxidized is formed on an insulating substrate 3 and, for instance, copper as a ground layer 5 is applied to all surfaces thereof. After applying photo resist in relation to photosensitive resin, a fine line pattern 6 is formed by photoetching. Then, conductive magnetic materials are applied to spaces among the fine line pattern on the ground layer 5 by a plating method and conductive magnetic electrodes 1 are formed. Thereafter, a fine line pattern other than said conductive magnetic electrodes 1 is removed by etching of the ground layer 5 thereunder and the metal layer 4, and non-conductive magnetic powder is mixed with organic binder and filled by coating in spaces among many conductive magnetic electrodes 1 newly formed to form non-conductive magnetic materials 2.

摘要： PURPOSE:To stably obtain bright images even when humidity changes drastically by forming a porous dielectric layer on the surface of the conductive member on the dielectric surface layer of a recording medium and packing hydrophobic dielectric materials into the holes of the dielectric layer. CONSTITUTION:A conductor 11 which can be anodized is used as the recording medium 1 and the surface of this conductor 11 is anodized. Further, the hydrophobic dielectric materials 12a, 12b having the softening point hither than the glass transition point of a toner are packed into the many holes formed within the anodized layer to form the dielectric layer 12. The surface of the conductor 11 as the recording medium 1 is otherwise subjected to thermal spraying and is thereby formed with the dielectric layer 12 of an oxide, carbide, nitride, etc., having wear resistance and thereafter, the hydrophobic dielectric materials 12a, 12b having the softening point higher than the glass transition point of the toner are packed into the holes in the dielectric layer 12. The fluctuation in the surface resistance of the recording medium is lessened in this way and the bright images are formed even when the recording medium is used in the environment from a high humidity to low humidity.

As to the electric conductor 31, the hole whose diameter is about 3-10mm is made to pierce along the center axis and the heater 33 is inserted in the hole along a longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:A second heating means 8 or a pressure fixing roller 9 is separately provided in order to fix the secondarily transferred toner onto the transfer member. Then, the need of fixing toner 3 is eliminated in the process of secondarily transferring the toner 3 onto the transfer material 6 so that the toner picture can be recorded at the relatively low temperature of the intermiddle transfer body 5. Thus, the deterioration in the intermiddle transfer body 5 is never promoted, nor does the temperature of a recording drum 1 rise excessively. Therefore, it is possible to transfer and fix a toner picture rapidly.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make a magnetic field intensity distribution the highest at a tip part and rapidly lower it toward the developer pooling side, to form a toner chain only in a narrow area, and to reduce a recording voltage by arranging a magnetic substance on the surface opposite to a magnet. CONSTITUTION:With respect to an electrostatic recording head 2, the magnetic substance 18 is placed on the surface opposite to the magnet 16. Among magnetic force lines generated from the magnet 16, the magnetic force lines on the developer pooling side are absorbed by the magnetic substance 18, so that the magnetic field intensity of developer pooling space is weakened, however, the magnetic force lines which pass the tip of a recording electrode 15 and flow toward a recording member 1 facing the tip of the recording electrode 15 are not weakened because of the less influence of the magnetic substance 18. So the intensity distribution of the magnetic field near the tip of the recording electrode 15 is highest at the gap between the forward end of the recording electrode 15 and the recording member 1, and rapidly lowers toward the developer pooling side along the moving direction of the recording member 1. Thus, the toner chain can be formed only in the narrow area of the forward end part of the recording electrode, and the recording voltage is reduced.
