    • PURPOSE:To provide high density to recording electrodes, and improve the resolution of a recording image by a method wherein an insulation layer is provided on a rigid magnetic body within a range of a specified thickness, and on the top of it, a recording unit, a driving IC pad and wiring area are arranged, and a distance between the recording unit and magnetic body is made closer. CONSTITUTION:An insulating resin 5 with a thickness of 1-30mum is formed on a magnetic plate made of such as iron, nickel. A conductive layer is formed on the top of it to obtain a magnetic body laminated base 1. On the base 1, a recording pattern 2, driving IC pad 4 and wiring area are formed by photo-etching process. When an conductive magnetic toner 9 is supplied at the leading end of the base 1, a toner chain 9a is formed along a magnetic line of force which is formed between a permanent magnet 11 and the base 1. When voltage is applied to the pattern 2 from a pulse driving circuit 12, electric charge is injected in the toner 9, and at the same time, electric charge with the opposite polarity is induced at the boundary between a conductive layer 10a and dielectric layer 10b of a recording medium 10, and the two electric charges are strongly drawn to each other. When the medium 10 is moved in the direction shown by arrow B under this condition, the chain 9a is broken, and a developed image is formed on the medium 10 by the charged toner 9.

    • PURPOSE:To stably execute a clear high resolution image recording at a high speed by staggeredly providing various magnetic substances in the arraying direction of a recording electrode having various magnetism in contact with a conductive magnetic developer on a recording member. CONSTITUTION:A permanent magnet 2 which is a magnetic field generating means is arranged still inside the recording member 1 and always forms a certain magnetic field. Many recording electrodes 3 which are arranged to have a gap with the recording member are arrayed in row on an insulative substrate 4 which is made of, for example, a ceramic or an epoxy resin, etc. The recording electrodes 3 are formed by a permalloy, a nickel, etc., which are magnetic members so that they have equal magnetism. And in this arraying direction, the magnetic substance 5 is staggeredly arranged alternately between every recording electrode and itself through an insulating layer. Consequently, the aggregate of the conductive magnetic developer in a flux state, which is independent, and does not receive an affection from the adjoining recording electrode, can be always stably made to exist in every recording electrode. Thus, the clear high resolution image can be stably recorded.

    • PURPOSE:To reinforce the mechanical strength of a recording medium by forming the recording medium as a solid cylinder, making a hole pierce along the center axis of the cylinder and installing a heater inside the hole. The recording medium 3 is constituted of a cylindrical electric conductor 31 made of Al or Al alloy, etc., and an insulating layer 32 whose thickness is 2-100mum and which is formed by such surface treatment that resin tetrafluoride is allowed to eat anodized Al, reinforced anodized Al or porous hard oxygen Al after performing mirror surface processing on the outer peripheral surface of the conductor 31. As to the electric conductor 31, the hole whose diameter is about 3-10mm is made to pierce along the center axis and the heater 33 is inserted in the hole along a longitudinal direction.
