    • PURPOSE:To execute skip processing of a defective sector without causing rotation waiting of a recording medium by providing a field for showing the position of the defective sector on a discriminating information area to data, so that a control device which has read it holds it in a storing circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a sector pulse is detected by a disk state information register 90, a control device 50 reads ID information. Subsequently, defective sector position information ID0 is stored in a control table in an RAM 70, and thereafter, a readout sector number of an ID1 part is compared with a designated sector number in a microprocessor, and when both of them coincide with each other, readout/write of the following data part are starded. In case when both of them do not coincide with each other, or in case when an error is detected when reading out the ID part, the operation is shifted to read the folowing ID part, the read operation of the ID part is executed up to a three-rotation portion, ana in case when a desired sector is still undetected, the operation is discontinued. In this way, skip processing of a defective sector can be executed without causing rotation waiting of a recording medium.

    • PURPOSE:To attain detailed focus correction by applying an optimum grid voltage to a focus collecting grid of a CRT corresponding to a scanning position of a current electron beam attended with a change in a video signal. CONSTITUTION:The display device is provided with a focus correction circuit 200 to provide a correction signal V2 synchronously with the scanning of a beam to a focusing grid 2 and with an adjustment section 300 that provides an output of a synchronizing separator circuit 6 to give focus correction data to the focus correction circuit 200 and provides focus correction data to the focus correction circuit 200. Then a display screen of a cathode ray tube is divided into plural zones (scanning positions) roughly or densely depending on a display object by a zone division means and a correction value storage means stores the correction value for focus correction of electron beams corresponding to each of plural divided zones and the focus correction circuit 200 corrects a focus of the electron beam on the display screen of the cathode ray tube 1 based on the stored correction value.

    • PURPOSE:To rotate automatically a spindle motor for attachment and detachment of a disc, and to attach and detach the disc quickly, by rotating a DC motor, where the rise speed is made high only when a door mechanism in case of opening and closing a disc attaching and detaching aperture is opened and a motor on signal is outputted from a disc controller. CONSTITUTION:The motor on signal is generated by a retriggerrable one shot circuit 18 as a motor controlling circuit, At the access time, the one shot circuit 18 is triggerred retriggerrably by the trigger signal from a disc controller 12 to generate the motor on signal, and OR between this signal and the output signal of a switch 9 is operated by an OR gate 17 to control turning-on/off of a transistor 15. That is, a DC motor 14 is rotated when the motor on signal or an output signal related to opening of a door mechanism 8 from the switch 9 is obtained in the side of a disc device 13.
