    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device and an inspection method for a diffuser of a jet pump, capable of moving and installing accurately a sensor of an inspection device body, wherein inspection position accuracy is excellent and an inspection work is simple.
      SOLUTION: In this inspection device for the diffuser, the inspection device body 2 is inserted into the diffuser from which an inlet mixer is dismounted, and inspection is performed from the inner surface by the sensor of the inspection device body 2, and the inspection device body 2 is arranged movably in a protection cylinder 1 inserted inside from an upper opening of the diffuser. A positioning member 5 on which a recessed groove 6 is formed used as a position regulation means is provided on the upper end of the protection cylinder 1, and the recessed groove 6 is engaged with a projection part on the upper end of the diffuser. The inspection device body 2 is constituted of an axial-direction moving means 10 for adjusting a height-direction position of the sensor 43, a circumferential-direction driving means 20 for adjusting circumferential-direction movement of the sensor, a clamp 30 of the position regulation means for pressing the inspection device body onto the diffuser inner surface, and a sensor means 40 for inspecting an inspection object portion.

    • PURPOSE:To accurately perform flaw detection by scanning a probe while profiling a surface to be inspected which consists of a curved surface part and plane parts, and calculating the position of the probe from the angle of rotation of the probe and the shape parameter of the surface to be inspected at this time. CONSTITUTION:The surface to be inspected which consists of the plane parts 6 and 8 and curved surface part 7 is scanned by the probe 1 in an X and a Y direction. This probe 1 is moved along a guide 9 and an arm 11 is rotated around a shaft 12 by an angle theta of rotation to make a scan in the X and Y directions while profiling the shape of the surface to be inspected. At this time, parameters which determine the inclinations and range of the plane parts 6 and 8 of the surface to be inspected and the curvature and range of the curved surface part 7 are set and the position of the probe 1 is calculated from the parameter values and angle theta of rotation. Consequently, an ultrasonic flaw detection position is accurately found. The angle of rotation of the arm is therefore detected to obtain probe position information, so the flaw detection as to the surface to be inspected which consists of the plane part and curved surface part is performed with high efficiency.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a guiding and positioning device being applicable to many kinds of pipings and having a simple structure, by providing a circular rail devised to guide an inspecting mechanism, etc. along the outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical structural material to be subjected to an inspection or machining, and to fix the material at a prescribed position by a movable pawl and fixed pawls. CONSTITUTION:A contactor 22 inspecting the inside corner 20, etc. of a nozzle 19 is fitted to a circular rail 24 and guided in the axial and circumferential directions of the outer peripheral surface of the nozzle 19 by a remote control board. One movable pawl and two fixed pawls 28 and 29 are fitted at three positions located symmetrically on the inner peripheral side of the circular rail 24, and the movable pawl 27 is connected with a ratchet to a handle 30, while the fixeds pawl 28 and 29 are rotated eccentrically around axes 31 which can be rotated by the operation of buttons 34, respectively. Accordingly, the circular rail 24 is fitted on the outer peripheral surface of the nozzle 19 and locked by the operation of a handle 26, the fixed pawls 28 and 29 are adjused to be set at appropriate positions of rotation so that the distance between the axes 31 and the outer peripheral surface of the nozzle 19 is made to correspond to the outside diameter of a nozzle 21, and the movable pawl 27 is extended in the direction of the diameter of the rail, whereby the circular rail 24 is clamped on the nozzle 19.
