摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical communication equipment suitable for an optical radio LAN system that is simply installed, whose power consumption is small and whose data throughput is kept in an excellent way. SOLUTION: At the start of communication, each of optical reception sections RCV0-RCV7 of an optical transmitter-receiver TR 1 at a transmitter side is made valid, each of optical transmission sections TRN0-TRN7 is made valid sequentially and independently and a prescribed signal is transmitted, a signal sent from a receiver side in reply to the transmission is received and the optical reception section having the best reception state and only the optical transmission section corresponding to it are made valid. An optical signal sent from the transmitter side is received at the receiver side while validating each of the optical reception sections RCV0-RCV7 of an optical transmitter-receiver TR2, the optical reception section having the best reception state and only the optical transmission section corresponding to it are made valid and a prescribed signal is sent to the transmitter side. Then communication is conducted with directivity by which both the transmitter side and the receiver side have the best reception state.

摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a FIFO register realizing a short processing time from an input till an output with a simple configuration and to obtain the data repeater with high response performance regardless of a simple configuration. CONSTITUTION: A read pointer representing a register number storing head data is generated by an up-down counter UDCNT to a shift register SFTBUF receiving sequentially serially received data synchronously with a clock signal corresponding to the data and a multiplexer MPX is controlled by using the read pointer to extract data from a bit of a corresponding register. The FIFO register as above is used and data to be sent again are generated by correcting a frequency deviation or a timing difference produced in a data transmission line between communication systems. The updown counter UDCNT is cleared initially to zero and counts up by detecting a data write signal and counts down by detecting a data read signal to shift the read pointer, then the multiplexer MPX extracts directly the data from the register in a short time.

A drive signal from the ID code discriminating circuit 17 and the message data decoded by the message decoding circuit 14 are sent to a driving circuit 15 and displayed on a display device 16.

Next, the part 11 of the center 10 sets the light-emitting luminance and light-receiving sensitivity to the lowest value (e.g., 50%) that has been preliminary defined, similarly to the above, successively designates the entire terminals 20a to 20m in the polling system and performs a loop back test. After it confirms that all the terminals 20a to 20m can receive normally, it returns the light-emitting luminance and light-receiving sensitivity to the normal operating value.
