    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the mounting performance and simplify combination of parts to shorten the shaft length by forming the center part of an oil tank into a recessed part of double structure and inserting an electric motor inside the recessed part. SOLUTION: Oil tanks 1a, 1b are fastened by bolts 12 and nuts 13 together with a mounting plate 10 with a packing 11 put between the tanks. An O-ring 14 is inserted between the mounting plate 10 and the spigot part of the oil tank 1b to ensure the waterproofing property against the inside of the oil tank 1b. A change-over valve 9 and an electric motor 5 are loaded on the mounting plate 10 on opposite sides of the mounting plate, and a hydraulic pump 6 is loaded on the opposite side of the electric motor. By this structure, only the hydraulic pump is positioned on the position where the electric motor was conventionally located hitherto, and thus the whole length of 5 shaft can be shortened. Further, the need for the waterproofing performance for the electric motor 5 can be eliminated to reduce costs. Parts can be loaded in the same mounting method as conventional, and a wide selection of parts to be combined depending on the purpose, can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To protect the compressor without impairing the cooling performance by causing the compressor operation to be stopped for a prescribed period of time at the time when a pressure sensor has sensed extreme lowering in level of the compressor suction pressure at a low level of cooling and re-operating the compressor after passage of the prescribed period of time. CONSTITUTION:During the engine revolution, when an electromagnetic clutch 8 is excited, a compressor operates with the result that the refrigerant is caused to flow from a condenser 2 into an evaporator 6 through suction and compression thereof. As a result, cooled air is sent into the vehicle compartment by means of a fan 5. During this operation, the suction pressure in the compressor 1 is sensed by a protector 9. And if a condition in which this suction pressure is below a prescribed level continues for a prescribed period of time, the electromagnetic clutch 8 is stopped from excitation to stop the operation of the compressor 1. When another prescribed period of time has lapsed, the electromagnetic clutch 8 is re-excited through performance of a timer function of the protector 9, thereby operating the compressor 1 again. The protector 9 is composed of a pressure sensor 12 and a timer 13, the pressure sensor 12 being connected, via a capillary tube 11, to a low pressure piping 10 for connecting the evaporator 6 and a suction port of the compressor 1.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a compressor from sucking a liquid refrigerant at the time of operation by a method wherein a liquid tank is wrapped by a double structure and the tank is arranged at a location lower than the compressor in a gravitational direction and at the suction side of the compressor a pressure switch and a relay operated at a set suction pressure are installed. CONSTITUTION:The outer circumference of a liquid tank 1 is wrapped by a cylindrical tank 2 and a cover 3 and another room which has a double tank structure and keeps a perfect air tightness from the tank 1 is installed. The low pressure refrigerant from a vaporizer is caused to flow through a large space in the tank 2 and gasified by using the heat of the high pressure refrigerant in the tank 1 and then is sent to a compressor through a discharge hole 5 installed at the bottom of the tank 2. Next, by the reason that the location of the tank is lower than the compressor in a gravitational direction, the residual refrigerant liquid in the vaporizer and piping is able to be accommodated in the tank inside. Further, a pressure switch 6 and a relay 7 operating after detecting the pressure in the tank 2 are arranged between the coils of a voltage relay 9 controlling an electromagnetic clutch 8.
