    • PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a door device for air intake by a method wherein a slide door is mounted on a case, having an opening part for air intake, in a manner that it is rotationally slid horizontally to the opening part around one end of a shaft. CONSTITUTION:A door 3 is mounted on a case 1, having an opening part 2 for air intake, such that it is rotationally slid horizontally to the opening part 2 around a shaft 5. The door 3 is rotationally slid within a given range through operation of a wire to open and close the opening part 2. The door 3 is pushed up against the spring force of a spring 7 by means of a spherical protrusion part 3d, formed thereon, during rotational slide and rotationally slid in a state to levitate from the wall surface of the case 1 to prevent wear of an air seal 4 mounted on the door 3. When the door 3 is opened to a given opening position, the spherical protrusion part 3d is fitted in a spherical recessed part 1d formed in the wall surface of the case 1 and brought into adhesion to the wall surface of the case 1 through the spring force of the spring 7.

    • PURPOSE:To protect the compressor without impairing the cooling performance by causing the compressor operation to be stopped for a prescribed period of time at the time when a pressure sensor has sensed extreme lowering in level of the compressor suction pressure at a low level of cooling and re-operating the compressor after passage of the prescribed period of time. CONSTITUTION:During the engine revolution, when an electromagnetic clutch 8 is excited, a compressor operates with the result that the refrigerant is caused to flow from a condenser 2 into an evaporator 6 through suction and compression thereof. As a result, cooled air is sent into the vehicle compartment by means of a fan 5. During this operation, the suction pressure in the compressor 1 is sensed by a protector 9. And if a condition in which this suction pressure is below a prescribed level continues for a prescribed period of time, the electromagnetic clutch 8 is stopped from excitation to stop the operation of the compressor 1. When another prescribed period of time has lapsed, the electromagnetic clutch 8 is re-excited through performance of a timer function of the protector 9, thereby operating the compressor 1 again. The protector 9 is composed of a pressure sensor 12 and a timer 13, the pressure sensor 12 being connected, via a capillary tube 11, to a low pressure piping 10 for connecting the evaporator 6 and a suction port of the compressor 1.
