    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing for reducing cast defects, improving a yield, and facilitating a refrigeration in a built-in rectifier if the housing with a coolant path 20 is formed by die-casting.
      SOLUTION: The first and second cylindrical housings 14, 15 have bottoms and openings at one end. The openings face and abut on each other. The third housing 16 is fixed on inner circumferences of the first and second housings. A stator 5 of a power generator is attached to the third housing. The refrigeration path 20 is circumferentially formed between the inner circumferences of the first and second housings and an outer circumference of the third housing. A coolant is circulated in the refrigeration path. An axial length is reduced, a die-casting process is simplified, the coolant is surely prevented from being leaked, and the stator 5 and the built-in rectifier 33 are effectively refrigerated by divided housings 14, 15.

      SOLUTION: The AC generator for a vehicle comprises magnetic poles and a rotor having a field winding to magnetize the magnetic poles and the rotor, a stator having a stator winding to generate an AC voltage by the magnetization of the rotor and poles arranged at prescribed intervals, a pulley shaft with a pulley and a 2nd shaft which is integrated with the rotor. The 1st shaft provided with the pulley is disposed in the side of the AC generator for a vehicle and also on the same side as the 2nd shaft or on the side of the crank pulley shaft away from the 2nd shaft viewing from the crank pulley shaft side. The 1st shaft provided with the pulley is coupled with the 2nd shaft through a power transmission mechanism consisting of a speed change gear to increase the speed of the pulley.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the productivity and reduce the cost by a method wherein a bearing bush is formed of an annular sheet member placed through windows on the periphery thereof and is fixed to the central part of an end bracket by casting. CONSTITUTION:An iron bar member or an iron wire member is rolled into a flat sheet having the optimum thickness, and thereafter, through windows 2a are formed in the flat sheet by punching or machining whereby a bearing bush 2, provided with stoppers, is formed. Then, the bearing bush 2 is cast into a bearing box 3 for an end bracket 1 made of aluminum. Accordingly, a friction coefficient between the bearing bush 2, whose hardness is unified, and a bearing is small whereby the elongation of the life of the bush can be promoted while casting material is received in the through windows 2a upon casting the bearing bush 2 into the bracket 1 whereby the mutual connection between the bearing bush 2 and the bracket 1 can be retained rigidly. According to this method, productivity is improved and cost can be reduced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electrical machine which can prevent movement of a permanent magnet installed between claw magnetic poles in an axial direction during an operation of the rotary electrical machine.
      SOLUTION: The rotating electrical machine includes a stator 5 and a rotator 2 supported rotatably on an inner periphery of the stator. The rotator includes a pair of claw magnetic poles 6 and 7 which are oppositely arranged and to which cylindrical field winding wires are wound in center parts, the permanent magnet 9 installed between the claw magnetic poles and a holder 8 holding the permanent magnet in a prescribed position. The holder 8 is pushed to sides of the claw magnetic poles by elastic force operating on a rotation direction of the rotating electrical machine so as to hold the permanent magnet between the claw magnetic poles.
