摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent malfunction of an elevator emergency stop device which operates upon detecting a loosening in a rope tension. SOLUTION: An emergency stop device 8 comprises a car 5 which is suspended by a rope 4 and runs along a guide rail 6, a tension detector 7 arranged in the car 5 for detecting the tension of the rope 4, a lever 7a which is displaced by amplifying the displacement of the tension detector 7, and a braking member 8c which holds the guide rail 6 by the operation of the lever 7a. The device 8 further comprises a playably engaged part 10 arranged between the lever 7a of the tension detector 7 and the breaking member 8c which operates by the lever 7a, so that the playably engaged part 10 can play only within a certain section. This has an effect such that when the rope tension fluctuates due to shaking by the passengers or the like, malfunction of the emergency stop device is reduced, for preventing trapping passengers, unnecessary stopping of the elevator, and the like.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress shocks at over-speed restraint or at emergency stoppage of a hydraulic elevator being lowered that has a large pressure ratio expressed as the cylinder pressure at the full load divided by that at the zero load. SOLUTION: In series with a check valve 100, a two-way valve 300 is arranged which is designed not to fully close or to have its maximum opening angle while an elevator is operated normally and its minimum opening angle at over-speeding or emergency including a service interruption while the elevator is lowered. At an emergency including a service interruption during such lowering operation, the closing action of the check valve 100 is retarded from the switching action of the two-way valve 300 from the maximum opening angle to the minimum opening angle, or the overall passage area of these two valves or the check valve 100 and two-way valve 300 is phased as long as the check valve 100 is fully closed.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the plane sizes of a car and a hoistway when a balance weight is provided equal to those when no balance weight is provided by providing the balance weight, and arranging a pulley to be hooked with a rope for suspending the balance weight inclinatorily against the axis of the hoistway plane. SOLUTION: If a moving pulley 14 is arranged in parallel with the axis Y of a hoistway plane without changing the hanging point C3 of a balance weight rope fitted to a beam 101, the hanging points of the moving pulley 14 and a fixed pulley 9A are drifted, the pulleys 14, 9A are twisted, and the balance weight rope is apt to be disconnected. A fixed pulley 9 to be hooked with the balance weight rope or the moving pulley 14 is arranged inclinatorily against the axis Y of the hoistway plane to prevent this problem, therefore the plane size of a car 1 and the plane size of a hoistway 100 can be made equal to those when no balance weight is provided without drifting the hanging point C3 of the balance weight rope.

As the deterioration advancing state of the rope can be continuously grasped on-line, the time to replace or scarp the rope can be quickly determined, which improves the safety and the reliability on the elevator. Further by automatically recording and informing the deterioration advancing state of the rope, the labor for maintenance can be saved.
